Hello everyone! A friend told me NwN had a great roleplaying community and recommended this server.
I'm completely new to the game apart from having played abit of the campaign but I do have some experience with roleplaying.

I'd appreciate if one of you guys could help me start up a (group) concept, as I'm afraid I'll just fail to get anything done if I started by myself. So let me know if you feel like helping out or have a concept for me to join in with :D

hello shadeefu! heres a quick run down for some of the groups. heres the link with descriptions of the dm groups: http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81624 , for spellguard contact cmenden in game, watchers = myself, fitzwilliam, gentoftheempire, nina_milles, or hhean regularly. for Sojourners, contact dillusionist or one of the others ( don't know ooc myself), for society contact silknas/sankis, domare, dan, or pigadig. for stewards contact diz-e or BigX, auxiliarys contact Cap, scirveners = god1x, clerks = kiroy, for wayfinders contact tinfoilhat, condorhero, magister, frostbite, and or sinisterplank? for scrappers contact ryan1 when he's on, harbingers of doom contact lira when he's on, or alternatively any of the dms!

Also, there are purely player groups, found here - http://www.efupw.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=131 , they may be others as yet unnanounced but that should be the vast majority.

Hi all, I'm also giving the EFU scene a try.  Part of the same campaign group as Jmecha, Regas, KMJ where we're winding down something but looking to try a bit of a throwback here with what seems a super lively NWN1 project.

I'm an old EFU player who has been on and off for a few years now. I just came back a few weeks ago because I like the challenge of this world. I've only had one or two possibly memorable characters. But hopefully, I can create another with some work and luck!

Hey guys, I gues I should try to put a word here too.

I last played and tried efu when it was on surface and had this big pyramid type thing. Cool place, but I was in hectic life situation and couldn't appreacite the difficulty at the time.

Now with having tried Amia and some other small servers over time and mostly playing PnP, my friends goaded me trying efu, with the lasting numbers and underdark setting seeming really nice and I like the challenge and possibilities. Already trying to get involved and hopefully join one of the factions.

Hope to see you guys in game and hope I can keep about. I play from university so I at times have poor connection and I can't use many programs all at once.

Hey folks o/

I'm Leve, and I come from a long history of PNP and over the last 5 1/2 years, nwn. My partner and I (hellwalker) have been nosing around as he's played some of the older incarnations of EFU and we've decided to give it a shot. Seems like I'm bringing my friend clarke as well, so I hope you'll all get some entertainment out of the three of us bumbling around ^^.

I've never played on a low level server before, so this will be a new dynamic for myself. Elsewise I'm an avid FR lore enthusiast, once having been aptly labeled 'lorewhore' (so it'll be interesting to see how this customish setting goes with my bookishness >_>). My NWN hobbies include altering portraits to be customized, and building, which I do for a long term server project of my own (hopefully nwn will still be around in 5 years when maybe we'll be done) and one of the other live FR servers. I love writing character histories, journals and the like, so hopefully some folks enjoy reading such things!

We're not quite in game yet, not sure what we'll play, but I'm looking forward to trying out a new world (especially since a lot of the systems look pretty neat) and meeting some new folks to tell stories with!

Hey EFU,

I'm new to the server and Neverwinter Nights RP in general, a friend recommended I give it a shot after I mentioned jumping around a few custom modules. I'm something of a lore buff after having dived into a couple dozen Forgotten Realms books over the last few years, and while most of it is negligible, I look forward to seeing whats been built on the server. I'll probably be stumbling about for a while!

Building a character seems to be a daunting process in this giant, alternative FR world, but I'm enjoying it thus far. I'll likely be around the web chat for a good chunk of time asking mindless lore questions so I can construct a character history that makes some modicum of sense.
