Give druids "Endurance"

So I was wondering if there was a particular reason why Druids don't have access to the spell "Endurance".

For some reason they don't have it, even though they are given it in PnP and NWN2. It seems to me like it was a Bioware oversight more than intent, seeing as the spell was "Bears Endurance" and its also the only one without an animal name.

My 2 cents.

It is also extremely strange that they don't get the "web" spell.

I'm all for improving the diversity of "spellcaster" druids, as they are by far more interesting to me.

I believe they were given endurance in 3.5 and didn't have it for some reason in 3.0 which nwn is based on, but I'm not really sure. I think this would be good. Druids already suffer loads from their lack of spellslots vs all other casters with the exception of bards. I'd honestly like to see druids get web, the various cloud spells, protection from alignment and magic weapon too. Not sure how doable it is though.

I'm all for seeing druids getting more spells and variety, I have mentioned this in another thread but at the moment playing an active druid I find that more often then not I am just casting the same few spells and there is no reason for me to prepare a variety for any situation. If we had more druid kits I could see themed spells working (if feasible/desired) but there are spells as mention above that would work well for druids but doesn't solve the issue of variety a lot. Another general druid spell to add I would say would be gust of wind (that's actually a feasible spell selection now).

It would be great to see more druid spells, either brought in through kits or added to the standard druid class. The lack of true mastery of various components of nature or natural forces leaves druids sometimes, as stated above, casting the same spells over and over, most of them mechanically necessary but have very little flavor. Some of the spells druids do get access to are pretty much never  used because they just aren't that good namely; Entangle, Charm, Hold animal, Dominate animal and Quillfire. If you do decide you want to use other spells  you just don't have the slots to spare (especially if you're a summoner and most notably 2nd circle ). Having said all that I find that the key to a good and enjoyable druid is to come up with your own flavor and adjust your spells accordingly where possible, you don't always get the best of whats on offer or for survival but I find it makes playing a druid a bit more interesting. I think perhaps the best way would be to make some basic kits with differing spells, nothing too fancy, just some thematic spells and abilities.
