Crossroads - Horizontal transition broken

The horizontal transition zone in the NE section of the map works when you try to cross to the far side with the purple crystal, but when you try to shoot a grapple line to get back it instead just places both ends of the rope at your feet instead of placing one end on the other side of the gap.
