Master of Puppets

Just wanted to give a shout out to Slyd and Nicolai....well played. Tough bastards you are.

I played Natasha and just wanted to thank all of the players who made my two weeks here awesome.

I wont be playing her anymore...cant wrap my head around how she tried to do her job then got demoted for....shaming people?

lmfao...anyways....yea. A special shout out to the PC's Mikael, Desmond, Amory and Ceras. Had a lot of fun with our flirty interactions IG and our conversations OOC.

And apologies for any PVP I messed up on. Need DM for this, don't need DM for that...pauses mid fight and being laid out dead as I talked to a DM about PVP rules. No hard feelings at all I hope. With the exception to falling to Nicolai outside the Crone (during one of the pauses I must have clicked on the hatch to go outside, and as I was talking to Howland about PVP rules, the game unpaused and I went into the transition....I was reading what Howland had sent when you ganked me..otherwise I might have been able to run away...maybe  :D  ) we really got our asses kicked fair and square. Again, sorry if I broke emersion for anyone.

Again, had a blast and the last two weeks will be looked upon with fond memories.

Ill be honest, its a bit painful putting soo much time and energy into a character only to be shit on. I feel ya Madama Rrrrrrrr....I too was made feel stupid about how I played my toon. :(

Garem

I hope you reconsider. I really enjoyed interacting with such a headstrong character.

These sorts of "setbacks" are just part of the story of Natasha, after all. Without them, EFU would be more like every other game. It's a wonderful quality, albeit frustrating during hard times.

Abandoned-1

Awe, don't go! Just take a breather!

I also hope you reconsider.  It's tough to play characters with strong ideals.  Had much fun questing with you.

The nature of EFU is success and failure. Without eventual failure for every PC at some point, there would be little point in playing the game. Everyone, at some point, wants to play the hero, and this should be considered. While some things can be enraging, it's important to consider the significance of what happened ICly and decide how your character would continue. Only stop playing when you lose real interest in the PC- not when things become too hard or the hurdles too high. Accomplishing these challenges makes the "successes" all the better.

morva

Don't take it personally. The most legendary characters that EFU ever seen were killed some way or the other.

Hubble Bubble

I can only encourage you to see beyond the surface of the situation and look for the gems that are hidden within.

Which amazing characters have ever been produced without a pitfall in their storyline? The moments that lead them to strive toward something more than they had before.

Losing is conducive to amazing characterization and story-telling, roll with it and you might just find you enjoy the game all the more.

xXCrystal_Rose

Just try something else! A new angle and new style can give you something to look forward to.

Blue41

I really hope you take 48 hours away from the game and then take a look at some of the posts in here with a clear head.

Everyone's felt that rage creep in at some point or another, I've found a little time off to be just the thing. Take a moment to think about what your character's lost, and what you can gain from your experiences.

Knight Of Pentacles

You should delete this and take a breather.  The only thing passive aggressive forum rages help is making you look like an ass.

Howlando

I think you just need to calm down a little, despite your assurances last night that you were calm it was really obvious you weren't. A freshly inducted Watcher going off on a big, raging sending system rant blaming half the town for not charging with her into the Crone to go after some criminals is not something that is going to look very professional or good IC'ly.

Now I definitely understand the frustration, particularly if it was a misclick that led you to leaving the area/getting attacked. But as you said it's just a game, and your character lost nothing but a ring that could be easily replaced.

No one here (including the DM team) wants anyone else to have a bad time but, as I said in response to your first big rant post that you posted under a different account, "EFU is a video game world that thrives on conflict and intrigue. It's not for everyone. If you don't enjoy it, don't play; we very sincerely wish you all the best elsewhere."

Issues & concerns can be brought up in the appropriate channel to the DM team but otherwise let's have less drama, please.
