In the interests of appealing both to the nostalgically inclined and those who appreciate a more survival-focused playstyle, I've recently concluded building a new optional hardcore prologue that is suitable only for goblin PCs. This prologue can be accessed where the old Goblin Start Portal could be found.

Unfortunately, non-application kobold PCs are temporarily disallowed until we finish building their own new starting prologue.

In "The Goblogue II: They're Back" your goblin character begins as a desperate survivor and resident of Fort Iron Dread XXXI at some point in the future of the current EFU time-line. Although your Iron Keep has long held against the advancing aberrant horrors, it has become increasingly clear to the Wise Goblin Shamans who rule the fortress that soon your entire tribe will be fully wiped out.

Seeking to prevent such a catastrophe and indeed avert the Apocalypse that has swallowed the world, the Goblin Time Wizards have successfully cast a level XIII spell of chronomancy and opened up a one-way portal to the past.

Your character, and many other brave goblin time warriors, are now being sent back into the past to slay all those foolish humans and other powers responsible for the Apocalypse and release of Dendar the Night Maiden. Your primary objective will be to search EFU's past and go from Goblin Time Portal to Goblin Time Portal and slay all that you find. Depending upon the success of your characters, you may able to discernibly affect the current setting and even escape into the current time-stream of EFU.

This prologue has been exhaustively built and beta-tested over the course of many months, so I'm sure there will be no bugs to be found. But if there are, don't hesitate to get in touch with me or our Bug Fixing Department.

This is real.

I will be streaming a special super-interactive "goblude" related to this event later today (at roughly 7pm GMT) so you can have a little insight into the DM world, and also maybe send some pointers toward what you might like to see on stream.  More details will be announced later.

I hope people enjoyed this light-hearted april fools and appreciated having an opportunity to see some sloppily implemented old areas that they may have missed. Please post screenshots if you have any!
