The Watch is what I like to call a sandbox faction. You can pursue virtually any goal and still be a Watcher. You shouldn't think of it as only limited to "team law kill bad guys." You can even use your authority to fight evil, fight bad guys, and even fight politicians. Its seriously an awesome faction that could use some more PCS. I am seriously encouraging people to make Watcher PCS and try the faction out. There are numerous perks best learned IG.

History

The Sanctuary Watch is an old faction dating back to Chapter 1 with many mysteries unsolved. Plenty of hidden secrets and agendas. Plenty of revelations that need to be uncovered. What will you do to shape Watcher History?

The good noble history of the Watch

The Watch has historically stood as the light in the darkness the keepers of law and order. The brave man Charles Bresley uttered the words "I shall Watch this night and who shall join me!?" Since then the Watch has preserved order and kept the peace. Known for grand knights, and even paladins that have selflessly sacrificed themselves in the line of duty.

The dark history of the Watch

While the Watch has a grand noble history there are whispers and rumors of treachery and corruption. Bribery, extortion, murder, racketeering, dark deals with criminals, torture of innocents, framing innocent men, Watchers being thralls, A time when the Watch was a slaving ring and had an acting sheriff executed for it. Mutiny, rebellion, numerous coups against the city and power plays.

PVP Being a member of the Watch is guaranteed to get you into PVP. It is highly recommended that you be PC competent and it is possible you can be reprimanded IG for having poor PVP skills. If you enjoy conflict you'll definitely enjoy the watch.
