I'm still down for the aquatic kobold group concept. Hydromancers, water clerics, salt raiders, etc.
Or the halfling merc company group concept - either one to take the fight to the Dread on the high seas!
OR the black magic merchant cabal, necromancers one and all! Because zombies make great caravan guards. ;)
