Hello All!

I played this game heavily in what was the first chapter of this EFU storyline when we were in the Underdark.  For RL reasons I had to take a break for a while and I was able to come back briefly and try out the previous chapter in Mistlocke.  Now I'm considering getting back into the game in this new transition and was wondering:

Are there any players that are still around who were playing heavily in the first chapter?  If so...who are you?  What were some most memorable/significant PCs that you played during that time?

As for me...I wasn't the MOST involved in the plots of the day but I did stir the pot with a few PCs.  My most memorable PC was probably Derek Storm, the Chaotic Evil Cyric-worshiping Fighter/Cleric who's brother was murdered by a horde of do-gooders and who slowly assassinated each surviving member from that brawl until he made a final assault on Sanctuary by storming in and attacking Blackbeard, the one-armed NPC captain of the guard.  That battle was epic!!!  Other PCs included Aidan Blake, the level 9 Ranger that roamed the deepest places of the Underdark hunting the most evil monsters simply for the hunt and who dueled a Giant to the death and won in order to win an enchanted ring.

Anywho...there were some pretty epic PCs around during that first chapter.  Any of you folks still around?  Let's take a walk down memory lane!

Also...for clarification...is this 4th chapter back in Sanctuary/the Underdark?  :)

EFU:R is indeed currently based out of the Underdark and what has been rebuilt of Sanctuary.

I can't help with reminiscing on original EFU though, as I was not playing back then!

Thank you for clarifying!  Now...I'm hungry for some serious nostalgia!!!  Let's hear it folks!

Yalta

Hey AirCanada

I was around in Chapter One. Likely most memorable for me was the rise of Montezzi in lower. The server was at its best. No one knew what was going to happen and it was all driven by PC's.

Canzah

Hello there AirCanada.

I myself did play more or less heavily back in the first chapter, altough I'd say my level of experience with roleplaying games may have been a bit lacking.

My biggest achievements back then were probably a whole armada of Lowersmen with different angles, so if you hung out down there we've probably played together.

In either case it is great to see an old face returned!

AirCanada

Hi Yalta...I remember the Montezzi house!  It was fun to interact with that family.

And Canzah...I'm sure you or your group probably helped Derek assassinate a few folks down in Lower.  I remember one time where he paralyzed someone from the shadows and was attacking them, and the "good" guys attacked Derek and out of nowhere, some Lowersmen came to Derek's aid!  It was a pretty awesome time!

Joe Desu

I have not been in-game recently, as life keeps me busy and travelling.

I spent a good deal of time in House Archibald then the Spellguard Auxiliary with Team Loviatar. Good times.

I played Gnak and a ton of other half-orc crushbots. BOnescreech and I created the REDCLAWS which were just a bunch of Half-Orcs who banged on their drums all day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19XVBMlUvGI

Air Canada!  Yes tons of us from efu still around. Luv to see u ingame again.

Ebok

I was around through segments of the original efu. Either as a twisted hateful ghostwise named Demp; Watchman Kobe Azurian and Salvador Komero; and a seeker Myria Chessi amongst many others.

A large portion of the original crew has begun to surface since this chapter has begun. It seems you will be among many old-new faces. Welcome.

Ommadawn

I was around almost from the start as well, and played a lot of EfU:A as well, though missed most of Mistlocke (which I regret now).

My play times were (and still are!) wierd for various reasons, time zones one of them, but I played in a fair few of the major factions at the time.

I'm really excited about the new chapter and where it's going to go. It's good to see other "old timers" popping up again too!

AirCanada

Its great to see that a number of you all are still around!  I remember most of the folks that have posted here...and I hope I continue to see old names make themselves known here as well!

I LOVED the original EFU and I'm really excited to make a PC and wander the old lands of the Underdark.  I used to know even the deepest places very well, as Derek had to hideout there most of the time, so I'm hoping that most of those places are still there to re-discover!

Many old (and new) players have joined since the server went back into the Underdark.  You may be surprised to meet many of the same players you once knew when you get IG.
