EFU Hacked

I'm disheartened to report that we have reason to believe that an unknown person managed to secure unauthorized access to the EFU server for a few days. This relates to the forums having been down for a few days.

It's important that all players use unique passwords for anything related to EFU. You should never recycle the same password for multiple things anyway, but please definitely don't for EFUSL or our forums. In light of our security breach, you may wish to change your passwords.

My personal preference would be to put this behind us so I'd ask as a personal favor that players not make a big deal of this or discuss it more than necessary, it is certainly very disheartening and a serious subject, but it's best to focus on the positive aspects of EFU rather than focus on the negative actions taken by an unknown individual.

We know now who was responsible and we also know that DM credentials/info has been spread into the community. I blame the individual responsible primarily and am inclined to be fairly forgiving to those individuals who accepted the poisoned fruit, but it's very important we make an inventory of what damage has been done and I therefore ask very sincerely that anyone approached about this matter or offered access of any kind to please approach one of us as soon as possible. You have my word that if you treat us and what we're trying to do with respect, we will do the same for you.
