EFU:CoR Leaving/Returning Posts

So I moved and the internet was worse than I expected. I expected horribly limited. Turns out it's "None" instead. Needless to say playing will be spotty at the best of times for the foreseeable future.

I feel as though, it's time for another extended break, a real one this time.

My return to EfU was a pleasant surprise, as I had the fortune to chance upon a moment of time where interesting things were done by interesting characters. Lately however, I can't shake off the persistent feeling that I've seen all there is to see of the server. It's a huge module, yet only a small portion of it is actually playable, and only if one is willing to become a bland DM faction politician. Unfortunately these seem to be a fair share of the DM supported driving forces, a support without which there is really very little to do in the server, and very little real space to attempt to do things in. EfU has felt as though a confusing, dull, gratuitous slog for sometime now, and neither the plots nor the PCs ostensibly driving them have done a good job of captivating me.

I will not lie and say this new tour was entirely devoid of enjoyment, and I thank everyone who actually took the time and effort to go beyond spewing the contents of their PCN at my screen, or just dug for retarded excuses to engage in PvP (which is not to say I did not have a good amount of pleasant PvP encounters, many of which I lost!). You were awesome, and I thank you for the good times we had. I won't fall into the trap of saying I'm gone forever this time, but I do feel ... strongly disinclined to return at the moment, and I believe this sentiment will persist for some time.

I've never had the displeasure of interacting with you, but this kind of attitude towards players who most likely did the best their experience allowed to interact with you is frankly disgusting. Stay gone and please keep the leaving posts to "I'm leaving" and not turn it into a yelp tier community review thread.

It is sad to hear you say that Golgo. Players do the best they can to involve others and have good interactions. If you felt they were lackluster you should keep that between you and the player and provide a constructive criticism to make them better.

I have applied a permanent ban to your CDkey to facilitate your exodus to a roleplaying community that meets your """high""" standards of excellence (though I would suggest that you will have a good deal of trouble finding a community that welcomes individuals who: make death threats to other players, evade bans, and generally behave like an adolescent in the throes of a parental divorce.)
