Oh, well... Qoha.

What can I say? I love them bitter smelly crones. But I needed a break this time. So I gone to go for Eldath so to explore rolling a peaceful PC that would need to solve her conflicts without needing to punch other PCs (and actually getting punched thrice).

Surprisingly, Qoha ended up stepping in all sort of arguments and I guess few of my PCs were so antagonized as she was. I thought she would be ever loved and cuddled by everyone.

Many troubles apart, I think she was one of my most successful PCs, if not the most successful of them. I learned A LOT of the setting with her, both mechanically and story-wise. I never did so well in herbalism until now and I was never able to unveil so many secrets as I did with her. Not to mention the tons of important roles she took part in. The Tiny Meek Trout pleased me much!

Also... woot! Stargazers and Stewards... I love you guys! First time I decide to trully app for a faction and get deep into it. I did not regret. Not at all! JaydeMoon, as usual, fed my crazy ideas and kept making Qoha's story interesting. Howland kept my questions answered and also allowed me to taste much I had not until then. Thanks you both. And thanks to all the other DMs that endured my whining and begging for attention. I know sometimes I am overly needy. Big thanks for NuclearCatastrophe for being around to talk with me when it got worse. :D

Also, I must thank the players of "Team-Mist" that gave Qoha enough support so she would not break after so much struggle in the Eyrie. And, I am sorry, but I still did not figure out the random PrintScreen functionality of NWN. Because of that I lost most of my epic screenies with you guys. :(

Coward to most, she actually feared only the "Outlanders". Qoha was pretty bold while talking to her fellow Tribesmen (with probably the exception of Chouka). And contrary to what most thought, she did not gone away from Ymph cowardly. She only decided to not return from the Portal because of this:

Truth or not, she owned Pa'andra this. And remember that in the middle of the ritual, she promised the return of the pygmies. A prophecy still to be fulfilled. Alas, she remains true to the Stewards Oath of tending Ymph back to its former beauty.

The worse part of this was to leave "the" Emlyn after all support he had gave her. Even so, I think that due to her nurturing ways, she managed to leave a "legacy" for most of all that stayed on Ymph. Emlyn got her seeds. Whrugri got her poisons that she collected since day one. Jungo got most of her magic pebbles. V'borta got the knowledge they shared when both started their herbalist career. Thrikki got much more than he wished with both dung (!) and curative plants. Vagreth got her blood and the pride to be the first she heard about where to plant a Grove. Her first Grove still stands where he taught her to tend it. They all will probably consider her forever as a Dumb and Coward Trout. Still, her heart stays with them, somehow.

Lovely quotes about Qoha:
Whrugri: "Trout got a big jaw, should keep it shut. Whrugri has long learnt to put mud into his ears when she starts talking."

Vagreth: *rip-thorn-cut, shred*

Thrikki: "DUMB Trout!"

V'borta: "You're too slow"

Bruka: "If you do not shut up, I am going to give you eagle lessons"

Akreaya: "Qoha complains too much, should stay quiet"

Ikemenufa: Don't be meek!

Shawn: "I'm the mushroom and the mushroom is me"

Beatrice: "Cynic"

Ambrose: "It is only right that you die as is befitting a deranged animal"

Nyx: Save yourself!

Olaf: *hits the head on the wall until she faints of horror*

Pa'andra: "Not the wisest, not the strongest, not the brightest"
Cool Stuff

I am all up for flavor. I might decide to have the worse stats on my PC if this will result into to giving it a meaningful touch. Alas, I cannot complain about the gifts I got with her after successful trips in the wild world of EFU.

Pendant of the Animal-Whisperer
After the Wyvern Marathon that the stargazers and other silly outlanders ran to defeat Geshapo, in which Qoha were all running and begging the Wyvern to not devour her and her cousins, she got this Pendant. It is not everyday that you manage to call down an Enraged Wyvern just by begging (even if only lasted some seconds).
Delta Focus
OH, this was truly cool! Many weeks whining about how my Water Elementals melted at each encounter with enemies, and after having her Mushroom Grove destroyed by her own fellow Tribesmen, she was called by Pa'andra to know that she was not the wisest or strongest... heh. And to know that she was to be entrusted an important task. Because of that she earned this sapphire that was washed by the waters of rivers and seas for long years before coming to her hands. In sum it was a +1 Summon Focus. My elementals still were more useful in underwater battles, but yay, they were something now!
Crying by the moribund Nagafa, Qoha earned this set of robes that flowed in odd ways. An illusion?

Well... the coolest thing of them was the on-hit slow. Weeee... more flavor and BIG problems with invisibility when ganked by a mob. As you drink invisibility and some hits reach you after you drink the pot, the robes would trigger the slow spell late, making you drop from invisibility. Heh, the most funnier of times running from a mob of slowed angry NPCs.

I am glad I got some Damage Reduction on it, or I would be dead then (as usual).
Toxic Tearbass
Some cool things that you find down the EFU quests and keep for the sake of flavor, even if you are never to use it. Part of the reason I was ever encumbered... tsk tsk.

Well... sometimes you use it to pose for cool photos with important people.

The Eaters of the Dead, aka the Bullies of the Trout

These guys were very important to Qoha's characterization. And it was really hard for me to deal with them. OOC feelings kept mixing with IC ones, so deep was the interaction. I thank you guys a lot for the interesting ride you gave Qoha. You made the story much more interesting than it would be if the Eyrie was a pack of cool bros that hug trees.

There was a lot I didn't see with the character. Quite a large accomplishment in such a short amount of time.

I tip my hat old lass

trick_or_treat

that whiny little thing.. :)

Great job!

Wish I came back earlier to see more of her.

HerDarkMajesties

I still fondly remember her very emotive Stewards induction event.

Great character!

The Old Hack

Qoha was wonderful. Racha may have disagreed with her at times, but she respected the little trout.
