Divine Intervention

He has at last met his end at the hands of vengeance.  It was immensely fun to play another Knight on efu as abiding by a code, especially in times of great crisis presents a fun challenge.  I did earn the honourary "Ser" before the end, but sadly I only spent about 20 minutes with a level in Knight due to a bunch of unfortunate deaths.

Big thanks to all the DM's who helped out the Order and myself on our epic path to apocalyptic glory.  Kudos to all my enemies for being cool about not killing me despite my countless PvP defeats, and massive respect to the players of Order pc's whom I have known and helped make this concept such amazing fun.

A Little History
A small time undead hunter in the Dominion he realised everything was probably doomed when H'bala was released, and decided to make for the East with his beloved wife.  They were ambushed on the journey and his spouse was killed, causing him to go all but mad with grief and he eventually became lost in the Mist's.  When he emerged months later at Mistlocke, he had forgotten almost everything of his past, other than his name and was haunted by a recurring nightmare of the End.  He also suffered from visions and dreams of the shrouded figure of his lost wife, which sadly I never had the time to explore and uncover fully IG.

I haven't got any shots from early on as I lost them with my old computer, but here's a compilation of the best ones I've got left:

My first treason trial, I think I was charged with variants thereof on a good four or five counts.

One of the countless duels and fights lost by the Order, EfU:M's "Most likely to be a punching bag" yearbook entry.

Dressing up as Aberdenn before slaughtering a whole tribe of trout stargazers, this above all else would come back to haunt Ambrose, though he had few qualms butchering them for the greater good.

Laying the dead to rest in the lake...

And watching the Grandmaster march them all back out!

He fought a lot of H'bala's champions and other forces:

Triumphant over the forces of H'bala, Stafford is rewarded for his dutiful service.  Arise Ser Ambrose Stafford!

However, for all the victories we managed, the Order crumbled and we were left with bitter defeat.  Ser Stafford was left in command of a small contingent of veterans sworn to defend the secret of Old Stones...

Sadly though, the few remaining ordersmen were no match for the might of Old Netheril, and our ward was stolen from us.  Which lead to another near brush with the executioners sword and yet another charge of "High Treason".

The King makes his speech... naked.  The content wasn't going to inspire much more hope in the fatalistic population.

Even with all hope seemingly gone, he wasn't going to abandon his men or his camp.  When the Agony came rampaging Stafford took to the roof in a desperate bid to turn the catapult on the beast!

Hood and his band of heroes arrive to help and we confront the agony.  (Unfortunately the third time was unlucky and I was eventually crushed by the now super charged Agony Mk.II)

And at last, he finds his final end at the hands of the stargazers, whom he had feuded with bitterly, if infrequently.  Better to die than disown his master.

Pentaxius

An epic knight, Kudos D_I !

HungeringShadows

A really good character, I wish I could have interacted with him more. But fate put us on opposite sides. You play a great knight and I expect we'll see another one at some point. I only hope we're not at odds the next time.

Big Red Beard

everytime I saw him, my heart bumped and my mind told me "run!"

The Old Hack

Ambrose was utterly awesome. Racha respected him greatly and both the times they spoke were utterly amazing RP. o.o

Ebok

I watched you more often then I talked to you and I have the utmost respect for for anyone pulling of real and unflinching knights. Kudos

Barbarus Kole

Was fun facing the end with you, even if it was mostly fighting! Good work, wish I'd seen more.

Super tight.  Well done and I'm truly sad to see him go...
"So what else is on your mind besides 100 proof women, 90 proof whisky, and 14 karat gold?"
"Amigo, you just wrote my epitaph."

"Maybe there's just one revolution.  The good guys against the bad guys.  The question is, who are the good guys?"

Pup

Also love the pic of your ancient armor.  No Order favor points for us wearing the ancient armors!
