Hello everybody!

I was considering running some RPG (probably DCC) using Rolld20.net and then thought to myself...

Might it be neat to have some competitive RPGing with it?

I am using modules and everyone would start at the same baseline so scoring would be simple.

Rolld20 is easy to use, you don't need to buy anything or download anything, it's all browser based.

The genre is fantasy and characters will start as 0-level classless PCs.

Anyone who is interested, gather your teams (5 person team) and respond to this post with the members of your team.

Winners will get bragging rights (at a minimum) and potential IG perks here.

If no one is interested...

Well, that's fine too!

Oooh that sounds way cool!

granny

I'm interested.

But I might know little of how it'd work

Dungeon Crawl Classics is sort of a throwback to simpler RPG rules, old school character roll ups, and old school dungeon modules.

The party will start with a set of pre-rolled characters randomly distributed so that each party has the same mechanical potential.

Games will be scored based on how quickly you mow through enemies, exploration of various module areas, finding treasure, and survival.  There will be bonus points for RP and making me laugh with shenanigans.

Feel free to ask questions in this thread as well.

So gotta know how to beat the baddies, gotta know how to work together, and gotta know when is the appropriate time to sacrifice which party member to demons in exchange for greater power.

rolld20 is awesome by the way. Used it a long time ago for D&D sessions.

How'll this work in terms of the time of game sessions?

Jayde Moon

They'll be scheduled once we know what the teams are and who is on them.

Further, if there isn't enough interest for teams but enough for just a single campaign group, I'll run that campaign group.

Mira

I'll run a team. This is a really fun system, folks. Moves fast and can be full of LOLs. PM me if you wanna be on my team of shenanigans and crushing.

I never knew this existed... Looks awesome.  As close to old school as I'm probably gonna find these days.  I'd love to be on a team and give it a try!

I was recently made aware of Rolld20, though haven't tested it yet. This seems like a good opportunity to do so.

I'll give it a try, sure.
