Morass is good swamp, full of good tastes and has good heat and moistness - all dwellers of morass virile and wise because of this.
 
Much blessed croaker-frogs dwell here, but also LIZARDMAN and beast of danger.. though all exist here in good harmony here before curse boil the mud into rotten stew

Whrugri knows of cave with mighty statue of Great Frog - if mud-brain outsiders is lucky enough to read this strong tome of knowledge and lores, he tells you -- go now, pay respect to this shrine... do this or your bone-marrows will grow brittle inside you and your young will be born with toad-tongues! Much strength is to be gained here..

There are many forms of mud in this swampland, all with much use in healing poultices, rituals and feasts... but even the least warted of frogs knows that the shore-mud by the bog-pools is a gift from the stars themselves, made to help children of stars and any loyal mud-brain outsiders who follow loyally - if has brain-ache, pack mud into ears tight and the bad curses will seep out into it - discard or eat after three turns of the stars - you will be cured and free of malady! SECOND CHAPTER OF BOOK OF MANY LORES
 
DEAD-EATING - RITUAL OF POWER, PRESERVATION OF TRIBE-STRENGTH, REST OF TIRED BONES
 
 
Eating of dead is one of most honoured traditions of the Children of Stars - if body is left to rot, the spirit of fallen does not rejoin the tribe and we grow weak for it. Properly eaten flesh will allow the fallen's spirit to join the STARS and empower the dead eater with their strengths, their lores and their ancestor-wisdoms..
 
 
The FLESH and BONES preparation is important and similar to the skinning and eating of morass-frogs - the skin must be flayed, the bones must be removed and flesh tended to! Bones must be stripped of meats and hanged in great trees, to offer advise and guidance always..
 
 
FLESH is best to consume raw, is it is known by all that blood is strength - Whrugri does not note the specifics of this ritual for fear of outsider-theft... but it is known that it is the only true means to put the bones to rest..  and only then is only good if done by chosen dead eater of tribe!
 
 
SKIN can be eaten also, though the spirit is not stored in such... (bones marrow & meat hold most).. can be tanned and worn as good memory, good feels of fallen friend with you always..

MUD-EATING - GOOD FOR BONES AND INNARDS, STRENGTH OF THE SWAMPS, "GEO'PHAYGEE"
 
 
Use of good muds, as Whrugri say before, is honoured tradition and cure to many plagues - though not many know that muds do not need be used as poultice or salve! Muds can be eaten also, in powerful ritual of GEO'PHAYGEE.. the right sorts of mud, thick with good clays and chalks will soothe all gut-ache and fill belly for many hours..
 
 
This happen because mud goes over inner-flesh, shielding it from bad humours and plagues.. though humble mud-eater must be wary in doing this power frog-tribe rite! Some muds are bad for gut - muds that have serve as nests for venomback toads, muds that contain beetle-hives but WORST OF ALL for insides is withered mud, boiled by cruel Betrayer-Maiden into a doom soup.. do not eat, or will be hexed forever!

MYSTERIES OF MORASS WYRM VUTHADRGOTH - WYRM OF POWER, WYRM OF GREED, PROTECTOR OF SWAMP?
 
 
Mystery of Vuldragger sign made even Wise Whrugri's brain itch... why is there? Who is wyrm? This frog checked scrolls, hidden wisdoms... lost lores long buried in mud..
 
Some speak of great sleeping swamp-dragon - beneath Morass? Whrugri swims deep and digs in many muds, but the charm of dragon-magicks stop him tasting it..
 
 
Rumour says outsider has found him now, collects many tribute? May be true.. all frogs know it is best to be safe than sorry... it is told that this thing will save Morass and bite Graveworms and Maiden..
 
 
As with all big lizard or wyrm, the Vuldragger is glutton for much tribute of much shiny things, coins and scrolls of power... will not fight without much belly-rub, it is spoken..

POWER OF STARS - SIGNS OF ZODIAC, ANCESTORS ABOVE, PORTENTS OF GREAT VICTORY
 
 
Even most foolish outsider will not stoop to claim that STARS are without power after great Conclave-ritual... Star of their shamans bleeds on the sky, offering much power to some but also cursing outsiders with weak marrow and dead young..
 
 
Is because they are not favoured by stars like we STARCHILDREN - all totems has powerful zodiac sign which appear to offer much power depending on month - if it is not honoured, much bad thing can happen! ( (FROG IS MIRTUL, DO NOT FORGET) )
 
 
It is here where the spirits of those who Whrugri eats go - spirits gather in sky as stars, sometimes even forming great clusters of much power... gathering together to speak as one, to act as one... spirits in these star-planes often take form of totem - mighty loremaster of frog tribe would hop as proud venomback frog while BETRAYER graveworm crawl us stupid worm thing..

BENEFITS OF POISON-DRINKING - STRONG GUT, STRONG MIND, COMMUNION WITH ANCESTORS
 
 
All knows that many poisons not so good for putting in mouth - many foolish outsider has eaten venomback frogskin and turned into spoiled meat corpse - but it is not so for all venoms. Some of these thing affect mind not marrows and blood, allowing brain to see the movement of ancestor spirits better..
 
 
Poison such as the Thanatol, mighty creation of FROG TRIBE now claimed by greed of outsider can give strong sight beyond sight - is very recommended for looking at stars through glass-eye... can see all better, can know all better. Mind is opened like patch of hard mud, allowing much wisdom to flow in, forming swamp of great knowledge..
 
 
Eating poisons of the blood can also be good if only eat small ones - if eat enough, bit by bit, skin will grow strong on insides and make gut more powerful against stronger venoms like sting of snake or wyvern-barb..

Whrugri saw with own eyes the power of King - he cast from Mistlocker fey-ree Prince Thoppser and smash all his mud-piles using only his brain... mist do bidding, mist strong..
 
 
Some say it will drive King mad, as has before... yes, many scrolls say this will happen unless true King wears. Is "Owain" true king? Maybe... Whrugri saw it crowned in ceremony of many secrets, and saw his marrow grow thick and strong... must look to stars for portents of what is to come, for much is uncertain in strange times..

EIGHTH CHAPTER OF BOOK OF MANY LORES
 
 
THE LUNG - ORGAN OF MUCH POWER, OBJECT OF RITUAL, STOLEN STRENGTH
 
 
 
Lung is very important thing in life - even the most foolish will know it is used for eating air to live... but few know of the mighty powers of lungs in death!
 
Lungs are known to contain voice of deceased, and part of soul... it is great honour for the dead, for example, to have their lung removed and worn by wise loremaster such as Whrugri - their strength can be lent to him now rather than wasting into mulch in mud..
 
Removing lung quite easy - just needs knife of hook and good loyal ally to cut meat strings... will get torn a bit, maybe but the power will remain. Dry meat of lung after packing with good chalk-mud so it becomes as leather..
 
Prepared lung can be used to weave strong ritual garment to channel much power into chants, hexes and MORE.. would recommend to any scroll-eater or shaman to own such thing!
