It says: "you or your friends". The thing is, we are not his friends, we don't even know this guy. So the rule doesn't apply to us.  Nobody except Jayde Moon is cheating.

Now Jayde Moon, aren't you ashamed? Is that a correct example to give the playerbase considering you are a DM?

To be safe, you need a proxy with a different IP for every vote you make with a different email. Otherwise it's just too simple for them to exclude all ''fake'' votes.

If they are really sophisticated and do nasty things to filter out bad votes, you might also want to cycle your votes with different mac addresses, clear cookies and switch off javascripts.

If these two things are changed, they can't possibly filer out fake votes unless they follow some predictable pattern over time (like a burst of 150 votes at 2PM which directly cuts with the normal ''vote pattern over the day'')

It seems a half-savvy computer geek could set up such a ''clean'' fake voting system and make a nice pile of cash by selling his services.

I have created only a single account and vote once per day.

There is nothing wrong with recruiting friends and communities to vote for a guy.. It's how it works. It's the whole idea of getting individual users to take part. It's different if a single guy creates a hundred accounts on throw-away emails and makes 100 votes in a day.

Plus I beat some of the EFU players who voted didn't like the song much or didn't even listen to it. So in a sense that would be cheating also. The thing is, it works just the same for the other competitors. It's not about the best music, it's about who gets the most support... So who cares :D

With that said, I shall contact my legion of, ahem, "lady friends", who will be only too happy to help me in this. They would be voting all day if I asked them so. Yeah.
