Anti-H’balan Organisational League

The Anti-H’balan Organisational League is an ambitious, over-arching player organisation dedicated to combating H’bala. It aims to draw players from all walks of life together to combat the Lich in an aggressive fashion.

Aims
Defeat the Lich H’bala.
Push back the withering.
Take the fight to her minions.

Who can join?
Literally anyone. Any species, any class, any religion.
The only prerequisite is a desire to fight the Lich on a more regular basis.
In game I will work hard to separate team evil from team good, so that there is minimum contact between the two extremes.
Players can be members of any other faction, in fact that is recommended, the more political pull the more influence we will have.

Two ways to play!
There are two types of VHOL members, volunteers and committee members.

Committee members are wise, smart, strategically skilled or hold positions of power in a significant faction. They will workshop ways to defend key areas of the island, such as Mistlocke, food supplies and sacred groves.
They will also work out how to take the offence. Ever had a clever plan to capture the Agony and put it to work in your salt mines? Now is your chance to unleash that plan!

Volunteers are a body of people ready and willing to fight the Lich at a drop of hat. Used as manpower pool, when the committee members pick a target for an important mission, they will send for volunteers, who will be the first to step up to the challenge.
Don’t think of this category as cannon fodder, think of it as a deluxe ticket to more DM spice than any one mortal could handle.

Why Join?

Let’s face it, we, the player base, are currently LOSING. We are almost destined to do so, as is the dark and grim nature of the server, but that doesn’t mean we cannot lose with style! Put up a fight, make the DMs work double time to counter our coordinated cunning plans. The end of this phase of EfU, and possibly even the server itself is rapidly approaching. Go out with a bang, not a whimper! If the last character you play doesn’t die screaming, throwing themselves at H’bala in a final suicidal charge, ask yourself, why bother playing at all?

It is worth noting that for in game reasons this faction got changed to be called The Convocation of Gallants.
