Sorry to bother but the quest loot really needs a looking at. The quest is very hard and the boss chest loot you find for it is usually rather awful, take for instance the cape which is worse than the one you find on the harpies quest.

Divine Intervention

It's pretty random, you can get some poor rewards and some very rewarding trips.  Don't really think it's that bad.

It's a rarely done, very difficult quest. The supplies you can find are more than find but I don't see why you can get a cape stronger than the one you find on trolls on a much easier quest as well as the sorcerer outfit which is weaker than ones you can find for free pretty easily nowadays.

Jasede

While I've never gotten anything great from that particular chest I think the usually more than generous supplies you get on a good run from this make up for it.

I don't know about rarely done, seems like a go-to 3 man for strong, small cliques. It's pretty hard for anyone not working as an unit that trusts each other, though.

HalflingPower

I have never liked this quest, it does eat a lot of resources and almost forces you to have a weekend warrior squad of exclusive friends to complete it low cost - High reward which detracts from the viability of everyone enjoying it.

I never found the loot to be very good either, but the trinkets were decent - I don't remember how much EXPERIENCE it gives but that's a justifier for difficulty and poor reward if it is HIGH.

Just a thought.

Bearic

I know it detracts from the purpose of such threads, but I just wanna say I like this quest because it's fun to beat up trolls, and face the challenge, honestly.

Reward and losses seem secondary to me.

Trolls loot is fine to be honest, not all quests need to be massive payouts!

Damien

talking about quality not quantity, why are people okay with the sorc gear being weaker than you can find on harpies or for free? lol

Mort

Quests don`t scale linearly.
