Telforth Tallstaff
LN Human Illusionist

[start] there are no interesting screen shots to insert here [/]

Sorry, I took only one and will post as soon as am able. But screen shot or no, Telforth Tallstaff is no more. He started as an attempt to play a wizard - a class that I have always found difficult to play. As dex based build, he routinely wandered the wilds looking for alchemy / herbalism ingredients with his buffed dex of 20, an AC of 20 or above, and his tumble well above 30s.

Spells are neat like that.

His goals were to make himself a crafter people would seek out for potions and wands, to protect the village as best he could, and to study the mind of humans and other races.

In his life time:

He joined the Muster in order to study those pre-disposed to law - and as luck would have it found all he could manage to study in Khavenko. Telforth did some very sneaky politicking that set members of the muster against each other to study their reactions and they way they thought.  So, if you were in the muster with him and felt "outed" in any way - probably was due to him spying about and using that info to seed intrigue to study.

He had fairly extensive files on people, what they did, and what they said. Info was oft passed off to other people - who may have used it against your PC. Never trust a fully buffed rat familiar that you can't see or hear, and never ever say anything in front of said rat familiar. Yes, you may have been ratted out - and not even known it until the conflict came up in your face. He also sold information to certain high ranking individuals for spells - and ended up getting some rather nice scrolls.

He saw the village fall

He became a hermit and a bit paranoid with the fall of the Muster, and talked to his rat familiar more than people. His love of crafting though prevailed. Much appreciated to all PCs who played along well with the RP of the wand crafting - I really enjoyed that part of the PC.

His hermitage and wandering are over now - and I found that wizards are a pretty cool class, with some sweet inroads to RP.

Thanks for great RP,

The Beggar

Aethereal

Hah! I do remember 'Operative' Tallstaff's efforts in the Muster, a very subtle undertone to his studies.

It was the letter he wrote to Balthasar, regarding the uncouth nature of certain elements that I remember most, aside from the way you emoted the wand crafting.

Good show.

It is through Art, and through Art only, that we can realise our perfection.

Canzah

I too saw the antics of Tallstaff over a few different creations of mine.

Always appreciate your characters Beggar, good luck on your next one!
