Any time I log in and immediately get thrown into some "shake it up" moment, I like to call it a good day.

You didn't even get looted, MidnightBlues. If your fun was ruined because of a simple beatdown, it was because of a poor mindset, in my opinion.

Forgive me if I sounded condescending in any way.

To say something positive, the last three weeks or so on EfU have been the greatest other than some of the massive migration events. There's tons of conflict, neat scripts everywhere, lots of fighting, cool quests, a LOT of DMs around and a small - yet tenaciously active - playerbase.

Maybe you had something happen to you that upset you, OP, but trust me... a lot of us had that happen. Most of the time what really caused our upset was our own attitude, not the actual in-game events.

Roll with what happens and try to be fair to everyone- especially if you think they won't be to you. Makes the server better for everyone.

And bro, I been robbed while in a faction area, killed seconds after logging in (happened to spawn next to a dude as a monster PC). It happens. Best not to get worked up about it. Those players shaking you down and knocking you out? They're just trying to make the server more interesting for you- trying to give you experiences, memories, enemies - and friends. Take the good with the bad and take it easy.
