Not just any boat though. Oh yes, this is a spectacular idea that I am putting out for any PC (or maybe interested DM?) to persue. The Laughing Skulls was great while it lasted, and ended up with a slightly necrotic feel due to the withered crewmen and the necromancer PCs that became part of it. Without spoiling much there -used to be- another npc group of withered slavers, destroyed by PC actions now, too.

Now Ymph is the big cheese but it's not the only one in this archipelago. There are lots of other islands, some of them uncharted. Old Port has their ships, the Mist Raiders, Murdertown does pirate association, there is the Caermyn ship and other npc ships around Sis Liman like the King's Passage. Everyone has access, except for one beautiful maiden.

That's right. Someone has to do it. Please. Make the hull out of petrified flesh, reinforce it with bones and give it giant bone ramming spikes, make sails and cloth out of skin and fly the face of the Maiden high. Someone's gotta take this suggestion and run with it. We need an undead pirate ship! Where the very ship itself is alive (or would it be un-alive?). The idea is there people, now make it happen! Ultimate Gondite project, twisted necromancer fantasy, whatever. You can find a reason to make it in this doomed world where not even your minds are safe from the corruptive influence of the Withering whispering suggestions into your subconscious.
