With all these keys and coins and whatnot with names floating around on them, I would suggest that a character with skill focus:bluff be able to change the name on their coin/key/citizenship papers etc, or an efuss forgery skill that is like forgery + bluff + dex(?) vs some DC to successfully forge a different name on one of those tokens.

Jasede

Love it. No more "HE HAS A RUSTY KEY!!!"

Mr Howardson

The coin is a metal item. The key is wooden. Forging the key would be easier I suppose!

Seanzie

Have you tried carving a wooden key before, thomas? Sound easy? :P

Dash

Difficulty can be represented by a higher DC. As it stands you can change your cleric's symbol with sf:bluff. Its not like your character recasts the necklace every time you change the name.

I think this is something that should be available for PCs who wish to disguise themselves, or pretend to be others. It could be a useful and fun tool and lead to interesting roleplay opportunities. There could similarly be a detect forgery skill based on spot or search.

Ebok

This should probably exist for the Forgery perk if it was to exist, and it would thereby be countered by the Detective perk. Although I haven't personally figured out how to use either to any real effect.

Changing key names would break their functionality I believe, but I am not certain on that.

Well right now forgery is useless so it would nice to do something with it.

Inconspicuous Politician

Changing their names won't affect the functionality unless the object tag is altered as well, I believe.
