Major Decrease in Quest Loot

I've been seeing a major decrease in quest loot over the past couple of days. But not a decrease in quest hardness. Or increase in exp. Could we perhaps get either of those two? Or make the loot a little better than it is now. I think its unbalanced.

Gotham

you sure you haven't just been unlucky?

Witchcraft

Specifically, which quests? I have not noticed this problem. If anything, I've seen the opposite on the quests I've been on.

Paha

Is this actually a bad thing? I heard folks were saying exp was too easy and we got too much stuff around.

The Old Hack

I was on a scripted quest and I didn't get 50 haste potions, 2000 gold and 10000 XP when it was over. Can we get that bug fixed?

Seanzie

TOH. You're not funny. Troll elsewhere please.

It has been significantly less as of late. Certain things should grant great loot, in my opinion, to reward players who actually pull it off, like kill the Ghula, Coral Cove, Sahuagin, Rent Collection, the quests in the Sunken Enclave... Other quests, like Orcs 1/2, have been spammed to get people absolutely ridiculous amounts of potions. Really daring and flavorful quests should give good loot.

Seems to be fine to me, perhaps still a little too much.
Definately moving in the right direction though.

Caster13

I've been running the lower end quests lately and I haven't notice a decrease in rewards trending.

Paha

Randomness is always a factor. This has not ever changed and we have not made any greater tweakings.

I'm sorry to hear that. Ah well, at least you are.

Seanzie

If it hasn't changed as you say, Paha. Then I see no reason for this thread to not be locked.

Quest loot decrease, if there even is one, isn't something that's a topic for general discussion to go one way or another on. If you think something's off in that regard, let us know directly.

It seems recently that there's a trend where someone finds something that irks them, then in a heat of passion they open a thread on the forums about it. A post where something they don't like personally at this reset suddenly turns into this long discussion back and forth, coupled with some snide comments that's completely unnecessary. It's not something that's nice to see.

So before posting, please rethink if it's really something that should be put there or if it's just letting off steam that there's better ways to handle. Cool discussions are always great and it's nice seeing everyone active, but would love to see it in other avenues as well!
