A call to Australians, East Asians and people with unusual sleeping habits

Alright, I am on record for saying this new change bite hard, but …

Carpe diem.

This is a call to all Australians, East Asians, New Zealanders and Islanders, or, in fact, anyone who likes to play in the dead zone of EST nights, say 1800-0000. For those on different cycles this is UTC + 10, so this is UTC 0800 to 1400.

We usually struggle to get anything going during this period, and I was recently told by Nine, our only Aussie DM, that he felt we were too scattered and separate to run good stuff for. This is the ideal opportunity for all of us to get on the same page, and rock the server when it is quiet.

I want to make such an awesome group that the other DMs will want stay up late/get up early just to bask in our majestic glow. We will RP with such relish and squash statics with such impunity that when we log on the weekends the rest of the server will feel like they missed something important.

Without further hyperbole, I offer to you, the antipodiean and the gentle folk of the orient alike:

THE BOHEMIAN BROTHERHOOD

A bunch of poets, drunkards, wild men, freaks, outsiders and rebels. Dedicated to freedom and hedonism in equal measures, unfettered by laws and social nuisances. More CG than CE, but generally tolerant in a "do what thou will" kind of way. Sworn only to protect each other through thick and thin, bound by friendship rather than a formal code.

The concept is loose to give people ample room to move, the only requirement to join is a chaotic proclivity, and a willingness to swear loyalty to the other brothers/sisters. I imagine the group pranking law enforcers or anyone who takes themselves too seriously; wild hedonistic parties in the moonlight; championing the underdog (but never supporting them once they grab the reigns of power); and fighting against tyranny with passion. Dynamic, compelling, intoxicating - they should burn bright and act without inhibition.

I know you all have lots of lawful character ideas (Wern8 I am thinking of you) but throw them aside for just for one solid attempt to get a group of characters together at the same time. Let's make it happen.

P.S. The group will not be called Bohemian Brotherhood in game, not least because Bohemia is a place far away from Faerun. If we have a name, it will be decided IG, by the participants.

Well I stopped into your channel last AM but everyone was afk/asleep.

I have no main currently, and might be interested in this. The main reason I stopped playing EFU so much was trouble finding people to RP/quest with, if I could get into a group of people with similar play times (midnight+ cst), it would make things a lot easier on me.
