Truthfully, I don't want to make this complaint because there are alot of people I like here and are fun to play with. Especially Howland and the Big Mean Orc DM(Whom is actually rather nice).

However, while being present at the situation and told "There is nothing that can be done beyond the scripts of the quest" is a dumb excuse on the part of Core.   I have had DM's do far more in situations of far less consequence on the server.   Your excuse is poor, lazy and dumb and pretty much saying "You and your character are too stupid to at least try to carry 'some' of the cargo".   You could of also just bullshitted a reason that would of made IG/IC sense, but you can't even manage "Oh, some person stole the cargo when you were not looking".

Pandip

I'm not entirely sure of the specifics of what happened, but I'm pretty sure this might be one of those situations where you might want to take a couple of deep breaths and calm down before you post.

Sword_Saint_Legacy

Not really.   I remember many, many years of DM conduct on EFU and never in my time have I seen such an appalling lack of effort on the part of a member of the DM staff.   If they cannot handle a little bit of detraction and I get banned for this, then maybe this server is no longer what it used to be and it would save me the pain of having to watch another server wither away and die.

Pool

It's about 2-3 people handling 30-40 players at a time. It's not that easy.

Give them some slack. If it's anything you absolutely want to see done, or need done, just toss a message in IRC and someone'll pick it up.

core

You did the oxen escort quest. If you fail the quest (as you did with the oxen dying right outside of Mistlocke), you don't get any reward. I don't see the substance of your complaint. Furthermore, if the oxen die, the quest is -scripted- such that it is impossible for you to receive a reward. We generally don't intervene in situations such as this.

The Man In The Mist

This is DEFINITELY the wrong forum to bring this sort of situation up with, Sword Saint Legacy.

This is the appropriate forum. Here.

Complaints about DM team members are taken to the the DM crew as a respective whole. They are reviewed and looked over by DMs such as Howland, Big Orc Man, and others.

You will find, on the whole, the response to such will be much more mature and satisfying.

I just have to get this. You are making a public complaint because DM did not help you finish an escort quest that you failed? That's just horribly bad idea.

First of all, it should not be the end of the world. Fully understandable it's a shame if you had to take small afk for real life reasons, but DM's are not there to fix scripted events and things for such situations when there's been nothing inherently wrong in it.

Mort

Public Targeting of Players or DMs is simply unacceptable.

If you have an issue, discuss it as a mature, polite adult with the person, first.
If you fail to that, open a private DM Q&A.
If you fail to feel satisfy afterward, bring it to Howland.
If you fail to feel satisfy, well... maybe EFU isn't for you.

Public aggressivity is never warranted.

Locking this thread.

Howlando

So you failed the Caravan Quest, lost an ox, and somehow expected a DM to take the time to help you complete it anyway? Wow, your complaint is refreshingly without merit!
