I won't really be in IG for next four-five days, until I get my new computer. NWN or my computer tends to crash or just freeze in most unfortunate moments, so I better not risk it, as it might happen in middle of something crucial.

I believe at this time EFU:A is a waste of effort doing anything as a PC anymore.  When collecting wood for 70+ coins on a 2-3 becomes with most certainly a deathtrap -all the time- and even the higher level characters are going to die on surprise transition cubes in a sparse DM server something has gone wrong among other things and will probably shut out new players as well who will probably think the same.  I suppose I'll be back when things are less whacked. Ciao.

Then it was a College project I HAD to finish..
Now I will be going on holiday until about the 6th of December, I may have an internet connection so I might still be in chat. But this delays me from getting back IG even more.

I'm leaving due to Tsin being retired.  I can see why the DMs did it but I think it is an overly harsh penalty for a minor thing, especially when given no warning and for something the rules don't define.  It's been fun and the place has always been a work of art, thanks to all who make it so.

Dan earlier told me you guys were not impressed with me soloing the quest. What happened wasn't that simple, and has only happened once. Every other time I've done this quest it was the standard way, with killing all the goblins on the walls.

First, I did not turn anybody away to form a minimal party, it was those two who came to my sending, out of about five or six players on, I would have taken anyone who came. So I wasn't trying to form a minimal party, but I was willing to work with what I had.

Second, my character for this was a monk who has maximum stealth ranks. She was both invisible and sneaking, and it isn't an unrealistic way for a monk to do the quest at all, I had around 18 Hide and Move Silently with a One with the Land item I used.

Third, I did not just kill the boss. we killed everything in the woods together and after the boss was dead, we killed around 30 of the wall goblins before the other two had to retreat. I also killed the treasury room soldiers.

Fourth, this was not some free loot grab. I used a lot of stuff, especially on Lord Vradzyn, who has a lot of AB and hits hard.

I won't do it like this again, but I dont' think using a stealth character like this one time when hardly anyone is on warrants concern from you guys.

There it is.  Tsin assassinated Lord Vradzyn without first killing all the goblins.  I consider her retirement just for that unduly harsh so I'm just bowing out unless hell freezes over and the DMs change their mind about that.  It's been fun.  Adios.

Electricity has been flakey, stupid trees falling on the power lines. I'll try and be on, but no garuntees. If I'm not there, assume it's because the power blew (AGAIN!)

As some of you know, my good friend passed away recently. I'm pretty torn up. I just need some time to reflect on life. I will still play periodically though not at my usual pace. Life is too short :[
