I've played EFU (In all its versions) for about seven years now. From early in the beginning, my first PC was named Tren Wettias, a Bard with 10 strength and used a scythe. He died fighting the Lizardfolk of Ssalateesh beside a famous Paladin, and SkillFocusPwn's Watchwoman, an event I accidentally stumbled upon while recovering from a DM spiced quest that got me some fresh new dm loot. Eager to test it, I charged forward and got critted by a decayed lizard trooper. I rage quitted  my first pc.

The next PC I played was this CDL (civil defense league) dwarf. six charisma, pure fighter until I got level 8, where I took a level in ranger. He used a Katana and a tower shield, instead of a proper dwarven axe or hammer. I wanted to join the Watch and become this weapon master on him but my app got denied. I don't remember how he died.

Then I played Allivarn Fireheart, a prominent Waukeenar Merchant I made to follow in Frum Highhill's steps, and to be this really fat dude who played Uncle to Ellisandro's hotsunite paladin named Verisa Fireheart.

Then I played Hafur Hunter...and a long string of miscellaneous and otherwise unnoteworthy PCs.

For various reasons, ranging from Congress' Sequester deal going bad causing my parent's to suffer financially, to simply the desire to return home and spend time again with family, I am leaving EFU for good in about ten or so days. My parents limit my internet time at home to about 2 hours a day, and this time must be used for other things as well, such as studying, research, and otherwise diligent duties toward a successful life. I  just won't have time for EFU.

It goes deeper than that, I suppose. I can no longer afford to spend the time on EFU to make it worthwhile to play. Sure I can hang out with you all on #efu, troll folks, maybe even login occasionally, but you won't see me nearly as much as you used to, I'll become like Thomas the Elder (howland), visiting when I can afford the time to do so, but never becoming entangled with some intimate plot that will demand a good deal of my time and dedication. With college and real life a reality now that I was never quite prepared for, I need to set aside what has become more of a distraction and hindrance than an aid by which I relax and ease the stress of daily college life away.  

So yea, 10 or so more days, and I am effectively no longer 'active' and become one of those dirty semi-retired players who comes in to #efu to bitch how the 'server changed' from the good old days, and look down on these newb scrubs who think they are so hot.

Apologies for my recent lack of activity, but I have relatives in town from across the country and apparently there's some rule that family > EFU or something like that. Anyway, my time IG will be reduced for the next couple weeks, but I'll still be around to gaze.

With spring break over I will have significantly less time to play. I will try to log in when I can but with such busy classes and other activities my playtime will be significantly hindered.

Least I can do is post a bit on forums every now and then and keep up with the changes.
