Within the Priory's main chamber, amongst the public section, sits a thick and archaic looking tome thick of leather and soot.

Borne of Wrath
It was not in some grand vision of the gods, it was not in some epic trial of religious nature, and it was not in the busom of Prophecy that saw this path raised. The Rites of Oblation were raised on a single and deeply troubling question that has plagued mankind for millennium:

What can man do against such reckless hatred?

Yet in this one question comes a litany of wonderings. What can man do against the beasts that rend their children's lives? What can man do against the Powers that would subjugate and dominate them in their malevolence? What can man do against wicked beings with wicked agendas beyond no purpose of making them suffer?  What did mankind do to ask for such?

As the Chosen people of the Unbroken gracing this idyllic land of Chalsymber we are gifted divine providence over both land and glory as can only be borne of the Gods. In spite of these overtures the fell powers, in grand conglomerate, raised against the chosen and began persecution in all shape, manner, and terror. The divine providence of mankind was thrust upon our shoulders and it was from this cradle that man flourished. In each passing day however the Profane grew bitter and began to act upon these base emotions. In such they have turned, one by one, to reckless hatred against mankind.

What can man do against such reckless hatred?

They can do as they always have: Take up arms For it is the Three and One that bestows upon mankind the means and methods to thrive, survive, and raise in full. Upon the shoulders of Mankind however sits the burden of fighting for their existence, combating for their survival, and rising to meet the challenge that any man throws before them.

We of the Oblate stand as vessels of Wrath, on behalf of the True Gods of Man. To stand against the endless tide spewed by the Fell Witch H'bala does the Numinous Order fight. To raise torch and steel against the Wicked does the Oblate thrice swear.

Borne of wrath, raised in fire, we set the world aflame to purge it of its wickedness. Unrelenting fury upon the Maidenhorde, Exodus taken from shore to shore across the isle of Ymph.

To take back the night,

With Fire and Steel
