Keep getting new holy symbols

My cleric Gurdal Darkforge continues to acquire holy symbols in his inventory. It's up to three now.  He seems to get them on server resets, but not always; I haven't identified exactly what triggers it.

He did get some prayers for one of the symbols, but I can't tell which, so I'm reluctant to just trash them.  He's wearing a random one now.

Perhaps this is a case where you are adding a holy symbol for a cleric only if he doesn't have one?  Maybe the "doesn't have one" part of the code is not always matching correctly.

Yep.

I started with a blank symbol of Hoar. After a reset, it was dublicated and replaced by a mildly enchanted one in my inventory. The one around my neck was also enchanted then.

My prayer book was also dublicated.

Then a reset later and some ten minutes later, another dublicate of the symbol was made, only this one was without additional stats on it. It happened when I was walking from place A to B, with nothing to note.

Simply trash the amulet copies and the prayer books.

They function the same. After awhile, the problem goes away.

You'll get like three different holy symbols and two prayer books. After the third it will stop, so like Thomas said, trash the others and keep the most updated version. You'll be good to go after that.
