I'm extremely sad and extremely disappointed to see you go. I hope you'll reconsider. Whatever may have left you feeling unwelcome is probably isolated and will almost certainly pass as you learn to ignore it. Don't let it get to you. For my sake :P

As for Herostrat, I haven't seen a more effective use of the "charismatic firebrand" archetype. He reminded me of all of my favorite characters who refuse to ever compromise their moral views. I was just beginning to get to know the man behind that front, and now you've decided to go :(

If this has anything to do with events of yesterday, I agree fully that it was dispiriting and, in my view, contrary to what makes player-based roleplaying enjoyable.

But we can work past that. You shouldn't ever let these things get to you. If you got into an argument with someone (I've done the very same,) know that those bad feelings will pass with time. I've been in a position of resenting other players, or admins (or DMs, if you would) and those feelings always passed.

You're not unwelcome here. You're very much welcome, in my book. Take that into consideration :P

If you still decide to go, just know that I enjoyed every moment of roleplay with you.

I wish you would just take a few days and let what ever feels inspired this post to fade.  We all get to a point at one time or another that we are not happy with the way things go.  Or things get said in the "heat" of the moment that arn't really meant.

I don't know what happened or why you feel this way.  I just hope it's not a snap decision.  I hope that you are sure of how you feel and the reasons behind it.  Because from what I have seen of your character and yourself (just read the posts) you are very welcomed and wanted here.

I hope to see you around again some time, but, if for what ever reason we don't.  I hope you enjoy where ever you go from here.

I don't want to drag this out or cause more inconvenience or confusion by being ambiguous about this: I've already decided to leave, I am definitely leaving.

I appreciate the kind words, and in conclusion I want to once again say thanks to the players and DMs who have interacted with me. It was a lot of fun. What I might do is post the screenshots and PC background in a while. It'll take a year to sort them out in any case.
