Dissapearing holy symbol

I didn't notice it until just now, but apparently when I died and respawned earlier today my holy symbol dissapeard. The prayer book remains, but the symbol is gone.

Edit: If it matters, it was a symbol of Kossuth, and had granted second circle spell slots. It has not dissapeared before when dying with a lower grade symbol, but this is my first time dying with it at this power level.

To add to this bug, the first paragraph of http://www.escapefromundeath.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63048 states that on creation or level-up a cleric receives a holy symbol. When leveling up it did not end up giving one back again.

Made a test character to mess around on this and it seems even if it is not equipped the holy symbol is still lost when you die.

Exactly the same problem, exactly the same circumstances, except the symbol is Torm and not Kossuth.

Making them marked as Plot so that they persist on your character through death might be a way to fix this. At least temporarily while whatever script is making them get eaten is looked at.
