Hello there EfU,

New Player here trying to see if it is possible to change the appearance of an armor set to fit a characters' peculiarities.  In Uruvions' case, he does not wear shoes, ever.  Is there something within the system that will allow me to reflect this visually through my avatar, not just mechanically (ie, not wearing boots).

Man, I hope that made sense...   Anyway, thanks for any help that comes this way.

Welcome to the server, Aenima. You can make a custom outfit in the starting area (it's a transition off to the right I believe), and there's other tailors to make outfits to fit your needs in game, one in the main area of the market hall for example.

Hope this helps, and don't be shy to ask if you have any other questions.

It's pretty much the same concern as when you have gauntlets equipped but your armor has the hands appear as ungloved. Not really anything you can do about it.

Just don't equip boots and put it in your PC's description and the message should come along just fine!

Ah... I did not know if this would force a debate on "You cant do that" from the community...

Thanks for the feedback folks!

Thanks for the intel!  I will troll around see what comes up then.

Personally I would just call them boots a foot ring or an ankle bracelet.

Boots are boots.  If you have boots worn in your 'boot' slot, then you are wearing boots.

If you have no boots on in your boot slot and want to say you are barefoot even though your armor displays your avatar as being shod, then it isn't a big deal to say you aren't wearing shoes.

Disco

Ofcourse if you wear a set of beefed up magical fullplate, that does not display pants, Then you are indeed not wearing pants ;)

Metal armor can also be custom made at some NPC vendor, it's pretty pricy and the armor is not all that fantastic, but me, I always pick to look good over having actually decent equip.. since, I'm sorry to say, that almost never looks good :p
(Have to make armor from scratch though, existing armor looks can't be changed to my knowledge.)

Ouh, word of advice though.. my approach doesn't work as well as you may think it would.

Also, I still haven't found the leather armors maker NPC.. guess I have to look harder.
