Let either break stealth AND invisibility. This way, druids, rangers, and whatnot can monitor who takes these items if they care to camp for hours by a Fey Crystal or a group of plants. :)

Why should these actions break stealth and invisibility, but not every other action?

If wild chars want to detect these chars, imo they should get spot or listen, which they need anyway to detect assassin vines and whatnot :p
Most enjoyable characters:

EFU: COR
Tristan Caerfal (NG Human Sharpshooter)

EFU:R
Thomas Valentine (Human NG Fighter/Rogue)
Durga (Half-Orc NE Cleric of Ilneval/Fighter)

EFU:M
Marion Sileyna (Human LN Cleric of Loviatar/Fighter)
Atreia Kelten (Human Paladin of Tyr)
Riku (NG Stargazer Ranger)

If this is done, and I'm not saying it shouldn't be, then ALL gathering should break stealth / invisibility.  Why should it only be the crystals?  Also, you can always use a potion, or invest points in spot / listen.

Gathering from berry bushes gives the target's name above the bush itself and gives PCs an opportunity to respond. Gathering from plants and the Fey Crystals -do not-, a better suggestion, admittedly, would be to give the name of the person taking the Fey Crystal in question or searching it, or from the plant itself to the open air so that PCs in the area can in fact respond as its quite clear...

Like, "XXX Searches the Fey Crystal." "XXX Takes a Fey Crystal from the Formation!"

"XXX bends down to check the woad plant." "XXX Takes Woad dye from the plant!"

So on and so forth. I was a bit hasty suggesting this instead of thinking it through.

The Beggar

I'm guessing TNVW is playing a ranger who likes nature stuff.

Well, the farming system plants break stealth but not invisibility. I'm fairly sure that the berry bushes only give a name in your own log, plus even rangers and druids can't figure out if they'll kill those, so any response is silly.

One thing I've noticed about the Fey Crystals is the glow seems to drop when someone removes one, so that can be a visual clue. Anyway, if you can't see them closely enough to get the "acquired" message, you're not spying close enough ;). Oh and you're playing a Ranger. Consider booby trapping the Crystals and seeing if they go off.
