Is there a rule against using KO mode during a duel? Because when someone does. The other player is forced to re-arrange their whole pack. Could anybody clarify this for me?

Paha

Well it's not meant for something like that, and generally just creates more bother than use without meaning, but it's not law or anything. That is all on the player using it and their mistake.

Seanzie

Well, the player who used it used it on purpose. And I'm not too happy.

Paha

You should take it up with the player.

Obviously even DM's have said that Blackout mode is not subdual or sparring mode, it has a clear purpose. Using it for nothing can just create some unseen and needless bugs or troubles, and more work for everyone.

Nonetheless, take it to the player who decides to use it. I'm quite sure it could've been settled with that, instead of coming to there forum publicly.

Seanzie

I tried, with no response from said player.  So I took it here.  Thank you for responding.

If you feel that a player behaved in a manner which was griefing/causing undue OOC distress as an intentional act, please report it in the proper place on the forums to the DM team.

Making passive-aggressive "general question" posts that are clearly a way to try to vent grievances at a specific player doesn't help anyone!

While consensual PvP, I.E. dueling is fine -- anything that steps over the consensual part, such as using KD mode, in any area that has NPCs needs a DM.

If it's out in the wilds the player can do whatever he wants to your prone body within the guidelines of EFU's PvP policy.
