Big Weapons Small Races?

I recently read this thread:

This is the first time I've seen any small race able to use a larger  weapon through scripting/coding/computer mumbo-jumbo, other than NPC's with weapons forced onto  them.

So with this, is it not possible to create say, a double axe that is  sized for small races, which has a -1 or -2 damage modifier to it, and  something similar done for all the large sized weapons?

It would be ever so nice if we could finally get some better weapon variety for the smaller races :grin:

On reading the OP's title, I thought you were suggesting small races should be wielded as weapons... Smashing orcs with a halfing would be fun indeed...
