Non-Withered Areas

So, there are many many withered areas, and only one non withered area. I suggest that there be a area or two where PCs can dominate, and own. People would want to move there, and or fight for that land, and or create a society. Who knows, it would add a lot of cool things.

Errr.  I would think that me stating my suggestion was quite obvious.

Didn't seem very clear to me as there is more than one withered area, and most of it is inhabited.

Do you mean non-withered areas in withered lands such as the Cliffside area?

If so, I don't see how it will add to the server, as most people are going to inhabit Mistlocke regions anyways (As they should).

A good idea, just not wanted for the purposes of centralizing the playerbase.

I think he was focusing on the making another town like area without the threat of the curse. Like cleansing one of the other town/camps. Although, this is all very possible with enough player interaction, and DM support of it.

 If you want an area free of the curse, you probably can already have it with enough work in game. =]

The playerbase seems too centralized to me at the moment. While the prior setting was far too spread out, I think that going from 4-5 different "safe" havens for people to basically one is too much of a correction. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing another place like the prior Lower sanctuary / Docks being more available and safe.

The server is perfect. If there is one thing to be learnt from EFU:A, its that decentralization is bad.

Presently, no matter what your concept is, you can theoretically inhabit and be involved with the whole server.

So the suggestion people want another non-withered hub?

Would that mean you want a place for... uhm, for lack of a better word "Team Evil" to reside that is safe from withering? otherwise, i can see both gaeserric and Sis be cleansed as those two, atleast gaeserric, are hubs for other "teams"

Referencing server teams is a surefire way to be taken seriously.

The withering is more like an inconvenience. You can counter it easily enough so why stress over the safe zones.

If father michael loves you he can remove your withering... or make your heart explode.
