While it would certainly be incredibly useful for those clerics who have achieved level 9, I don't quite see the reasoning behind the change. Perhaps it could be included as a special feature for those clerics with the travel or portal domains who are incredibly devoted exemplars of their faiths?

That way it would be restricted to a few deities: Eilistraee, Shaundakul, and those associated with the Travel Domain. I just don't see the rationale for making it available on the list of spells for all clerics.

I can only agree with this. I don't believe that it would add anything to the server to allow the teleport spell to be used generically by high level clerics. It should be something that is fitting to the flavour of the priest, and those that have proven through their roleplay and concept that they are befitting of the spell.

IMO give it as a level 5 spell of the travel domain only. Makes sence, but would be too OP if all clerics coudl have it

Some special Domain, like portals (If there was such, I am just throwing it out of memory) or something - sure.

However otherwise I don't see any sense in it. Clerics are not mages in any way or manner. They don't need to have same skills and spells.

Well, in pnp d&d Travel domain clerics get it as a level 5 spell. Maybe it'd make sense for portal domain too. Would mean redoing the domain overrides though and people having to download them again if I'm not mistaken. Probably easier to just rock out with one of those domains and hope a DM notices you and grants a teleport item.

Johannes has stated in the past that this will never happen.

I do understand the pull though, Portal domain (which gets teleport and dimension door in PnP naturally) with teleport would be really really cool. That said: You cannot even be granted Teleportation or Whispering wind by the DMs as is. Clerics cannot access the Teleportation Player Tool, so you cannot pick a destination.

I vote change the suggestion from give domains teleport, too, give clerics access the to the teleporation menu even if they cannot cast the spells naturally.
