The everpresent threat of True Neutral Gnomish Illusionists must be countered!

I hereby propose the Spell: Protection from Neutrality. These undecided scumbags shall no longer reign supreme upon this world.

Death to the neutrals!

I like it, but honestly can't imagine it would be used all that much.

No one uses protection from chaos or law except on specific occasions either. PfE is only used because 99% of the server's monsters are evil. <.<

Drakill Tannan

Aye! We shall call them... potions of the radical soul!

Oh wait

Wrexsoul

If it is implemented, I'd not want it to cover NE and NG as well as the three from the middle row - That would make it protect against five alignments instead of the three each the other spells cover.

Blanket immunity to everything is just too hard on enchanters in my opinion.  It's already become a feature that most pvp casters take gsf : abjuration, it's almost like a requirement already.

Awhile ago someone suggested that pfa be changed to just give high saves bonuses.  I think that was a good idea, with the addition of complete immunity from phk.

Otherwise, Phk could be changed or replaced with something more interesting.  I think very few people like this spell as it is now.

I call these people... noobs. My chars tend to have PfChaos up when they're exploring or worried, due to the number of CN crooks.

The problem with PFN is it would be far more powerful than the other spells.
Evil/Good/Law/Chaos each have three alignments within them. Neutral has 5 and is probably the most common alignment (PC and NPC combined) outside of Evil. A lot of monsters are annoying precisely because they have mind-affecting abilities and are Neutral. This would seriously reduce their scare factor.

You could always use potions of clarity?

Drakill Tannan

Or potions of the raical soul.

We actively discourage TN mages of any spell school, and you can be assured that we watch their actions very closely for any excuse to move them onto one of the eight extremes!
