As a bard, which is wilderness based, it is exceedingly hard to get a hold of any bard songs except the ones that drop and ones we must pay to have scribed and such.

I would verily like a random bard song granter in the wilds!

Kinslayer988

Definately worth adding. Perhaps have a storyteller in gsaeric's camp?

One of the disadvantages of refusing to go to Mistlocke.

<.< Or unable to go to mistlocke as I play a monstrous race?

NonExpecto

Yeah.

Then it's one of the disadvantages of playing a monstrous race.

You know they're supposed to be at a disadvantage, right?

Tentacles need love too.

On a serious note it wouldn't be a terrible idea I think for a storyteller out in the wilds to have magic song scrolls. Until then you could always get another wilds character to be your middle man.

Precisely, but something as unique and flavorful as bard songs shouldn't necessarily be denied to them!

Knight Of Pentacles

Since when are Stargazers considered a monstrous race? >_>

Drakill Tannan

Thomas ate a baby, so now stargazers are monsters you see...

Don't derail the thread.

You as well Tannan.

Relinquish

Make a friend to get them for you? IC way around it.

Kinslayer988

I find that considerably annoying to get someone to go to town for it as well as inefficient.

I find it considerably annoying that I have to earn my levels/gear/loot and think its inconvenient.

Stargazers have inhabited the Archipelago longer than the netherese and have an immensely rich Oral Tradition. It makes 100% IC sense for them to have a Skald that hands our stories/songs for Bards to use.

If a DM says no, its probably due to some issue that prevents it.

This. It is the fact that there is an extant oral tradition in the Stargazer society at large that would make this suggestion logical.
