The spell supposedly protects against all level 3 or lower spells that have you as their direct target.

Does that mean that this spell is impossible to dispel using the spell Dispel Magic, a level 3 spell, if it has you as its direct target?

What if you target the spell on the ground next to the target, like Fireball? Will it then dispel?

TheImpossibleDream

Dispel ignores all such effects NORMALLY however with dispel being effected by spell resistance now, it MAY work. I've yet to do any testing on efu. In standard nwn dispel goes through anything.

Keeper of the White Wyrm

It works. Globe of Invulnerability blocks dispel.
Udenbur can confirm when he raped the Sea Mare's Folly

I'm almost positive that Minor Globe ignores Dispel Magic and Lesser Dispel, but obviously not Lesser Spell Breach.

Arch Rogue

Minor Globe does not block Dispels, only Spell Resistance has a chance to.

TakenByVisions

I have witnessed it do both actually, though I believe when it was blocking dispel magic it was a bug and had been changed. I suppose I can test it out in game soon to give a solid answer.

Howlando

Pretty sure it blocks dispel/lesser dispel.

TakenByVisions

I still did not test it, although if you look at how bard's casting lesser dispel works against blur I believe that it is the same. Will post results as soon as I can find someone to dispel me.

Minor Globe blocks all Lesser- and Dispel Magic spells as intended.

Nightshadow

Going somewhat off topic here but still a useful bit of information to any who don't know.. metamagic, though it is prepared at a higher level, does not change spell levels for the purposes of globes, spell mantles, blur, or ethereal visage. An Empowered Magic Missile will still be stopped by blur. Same with an empowered fireball and a globe of invulnerability.
