Bestow Curse

I read on the site that tricks such as "Remove Curse" and otherwise could be utilized in an attempt to halt the Withering.

Is there any way the spell Bestow Curse could add to it, on-top of the other effects? That just seems awesomely setting appropriate and it's a spell that doesn't really get much play.

It's already one of the most crippling spells around. A GSF Transmuter is hitting you with -3 to all stats as it is!

Yes, but this is a long-term RP effect, not a mechanical effect that can affect PvP.

I think it's a bad idea due to the simple fact that if this was enabled then Khavenko would be dead inside 24 hours. RwG simply wouldn't be able to resist casting it repeatedly on his IC enemies.

nah, he'll just become an undead PC and comand H'bala's armies to our destruction. And nine lives, it is a curse... it says so IG. It says so in the information section of this page, and -remove curse- "heals" it.

I think the idea of having a less often used spell  or others means to amplify of contribute to the speed of the curse is cool, though I don't think it should necessarily be something as easy as Bestow Curse, nor do I know if such already exists.

Maybe something like the spell Enervation.
