"Customisable" Rooms in guildhouses

The idea is to add a completly empty room on each guildhouse, wich can be customised with a set of placeables chosen by the faction leader (or whoever rented the guildhouse) through an invisible placeable inside the guildhouse once. (It cannot be changed back)

This allows a faction to look more like what they are. A few examples and suggestions of what this rooms might be are:

1) Laboratory
With placables like alchemists' aparatus, tubes and glowing wizardy stuff, for factions dedicated to the resarch or manufacture of magical things.

2) Training ground/sparing arena
With two or three combat dummies, and an archery target, as well as weapon racks to decorate it, for militant-aligned factions whose members are meant to be always ready for combat

3) Temple/Shrine
With an altar, a few benches, a non-descript book and non-descriptive generic statue representing a god you'd RP as being the one of your choosing. For any religous based faction.

4) Storage
Filling the room with non-usable crates. Perfecet for merchant factions or factions who dedicate to the transport or collection of certian materials

5) Big fancy bedroom
With a large bed, a carpet, etc. When you want your faction leader to subtively shout "I'm better than you".

6) Dungeon
With a cage at the far end, and a few torture devices. Giid for evil aligned factions that keep their members in line trough torture, good aligned factions focused on martyrism, factions that enslave to represent keeping the slaves in their cage, etc.

7) Meditation shrine
With an incence burner and some places to sit, for more philosofically based factions, especially if something mist related, similar to the dreamers.

Etc. They would have no more functionality than Roleplaying, however.

I like this. It could be set up as part of the conversation script when a person hires a guildhall space.

I also think it might be possible to have a set description tool for the faction leader to do something like change the title/description of that generic deity statue to something that suits their faction.

I should add, all the ideas i gave could have been used by factions with guildhouses i have been at.

Hmm... and what about a small objects, that are visible only when pressing TAB (highlighting objects), that could be click-able and would start a conversation, that would allow one to set specific items to the hall in this very specific place, items being preferably bought from vendors and/or players (small items with identifiers, used to see if you have an item to place or not)?

I like the idea of having a few preset styles for a Guildhouse, so you can give a proper feel for your faction. I don't like the idea of creating an EfU furniture economy. Drakill's idea is cool though!

Not really economy, my Idea is to give like 5-6 slots for additional elements that would be something in par to laboratory or armoury stands.
These would be really hard to get, costing tons of gold from vendors, and the best being able to get only from the finest craftsmen. It would improve the prestige of the organization.

To be honest, I just wanted to give the overall concept on how it could be done in-game.

From what I've seen (and keep in mind I'm just making a return and am not up on recent politics), if a faction is wealthy and influential enough to be owning and operating a guildhall, it's probably got the weight of RP behind it to the extent that it's already received some DM Favors.

What I've seen happen on other servers is, after a faction or a character - with property in game - shows that they've got a good amount of staying power, the DMs will take a couple of minutes to kind of customize their rooms/guildhalls to give them more storytime goodness.

Of course, I've only seen this done once.

While it's true good players can earn a real HQ from DMs, being able to create such "cool" scenarios before getting DM attetnion would allow for better roleplay and would make it more likely for other players to join the faction and thus rock on. The idea is to make being awsome abilavle to thouse not already awsome, so they can be even more awsome.

Yo dawg
