EfU: Like Best/Miss Most

[I can has fun?]

Like most: The story arcs with Old Sanctuary. As everyone has pointed out, the story of that city was simply unbeatable. I want to see more factions that tie into that storyline.

Miss most: The Sanctuary storyline. With two spoilerish exceptions, none of the major factions seem to connect with the old UD. Now that we've escaped from the Underdark, I almost want to escape back to it from Ymph.

Like most: I like the new quests and having a more tense area around. Having the maletestas is fun too for fun gear!


Miss most: Factions and history. There were great factions in UD but haven't been having a good feeling about a bunch of the new factions. We're also missing a bunch of cool history of the ziggurat! We don't know a thing about it, it has no great history we know of... yet. We need to have better factions than a nobbish guard, merchanting for fun, a sillly ship crew, Non leaded goldhammers, some odd slaver faction, and some gobbo infested inn (no offence Thomas and Winston). It makes me feel like EFU is loosing it's great things I enjoy so much.

How, Thomas? From what I can see, there are many, many positive comments here... and how many negatives?  Either way, I would hope the DM's see threads like this as a form of feedback from the playerbase.

It's posts like yours that can derail and cause the thread to degenerate into pointless arguments and moaning.

Like the best about EFUA: New opportunities to make your impression on the game world felt, amazing areas and the promises of the island's history and mysteries being revealed and indeed discovered.

Miss the most about EFU: Lower Sanctuary, the interdependent nature of the well-developed factions and Howland DMing.

Else, both are as satisfying, yet hard to compare.

Well what I'm trying to say is that the factions haven't been showing the people OUT of the factions what is going on but the people IN factions are have been doing things the rest of the server doesn't know or would want to know like me...

Like Most: PC's. The playerbase here is really the only reason to play this game anyway. Good people, good times, be it in the underdark or above.

Miss Most: NPC's They are playing a much smaller role, at least for a lot of us.

Like best: No Bloody Mage Eaters. Really, this made life hell for active casters, as you never knew when your Nightshade had worn off and a bunch of dispel-bots were about to beam in and screw you over.

Miss most:
It may actually be "dyes". I spent ages customising Egon's armor. Yeah, I played a vain bard :D.
