Renting bug

For some reason, my character Karrin Connell isn't able to either purchase new keys for the Saurian Foundation guildhouse or to pay for extra rent on either her Kingsman inn room or the guildhouse itself. I had 950 gold on me when trying to so I don't think it was a gold issue.

Old Bug, atleast a year old, that is when I encountered it.

If you want to rerent you would have to sit on the guildhall renter until the rent expires and rent it again. I don't recall if I made a bug report then.

You're not supposed to own a guild hall AND a private room. The room system could use some work however, as DMs are not able to modify the values on them in any way it seems.

I believe the Dms have already mentioned there was a new system either partly or mostly done, they just havent got it to the point of implementation yet.

I dont own a guildhall -and- a private room. It isnt the problem.

Just as an update: Today when I logged in, Kingsman had without giving notice cancelled the last seven days of rent on my room. The guard in the corridor confiscated my key. I managed to rent it again and afterwards bitched poor Kingsman out for his buggy renting system. Near as I could tell, I wasn't alone and he had also cancelled the rent for the other rooms as well.

This bug is still occurring as part of the guildhouse renting system from the Clerk Emilano de Serventilley within the guild registration office.

The issue is that, despite holding tenancy, one cannot add days to the rent of their guildhall nor purchase extra keys. The dialogue simply shows the guildhalls are both rented and the duration left on each, as if the guildhall owner had the same privileges as one who did not hold a lease.

There is an IC discussion occurring regarding guildhalls (The Loyalist Court); it might be the perfect time to fix this system after a conclusion is reached.
