The Coven of the Misty Mountains

Background:
 
For those who are downtrodden, shunned, exiled, enslaved, and hunted there is sanctuary. Free from the fear of those who look down upon the witch, warlock, shaman, sorcerer, and magi. Set deep within the passes and crags of the Misty Mountains, a Coven is formed. Practicing their latent craft as both individuals and the collective they stand to right the wrongs committed against them and the lands they call home. Amongst their number stand tribesmen, woodsmen, and those seeking solace from oppression.
 
Open To:

True Neutral/Chaotic Neutral is the general overtone of the faction but various forms of good/evil can find a place within the Coven. While Sorcerers are the primary members of the Coven, Barbarians/Rangers or any other class (Paladin/Wizard generally excluded) can easily take part as long as they seek to stand outside recongized "society".
 
Various Goals:

• Work in unison to unlock natural/unnatural powers from the land in which to bring solace to those they call family and bring fear to those that would oppress them. (Herbalism, Alchemy, Rituals, Spirit Communication,etc..)
  
• Garner knowledge and wisdom in rites, history, lore, and people of the Shrouded Isles. Protect and safeguard the old ways.
  
• Empower and better understand the latent ability of those in the Coven and the lands of the Shrouded Isles.
  
• Garner freedom for those still enslaved, oppressed, exiled, or downtrodden. Conflict with other factions who commit these acts against both the land and man alike.
  
• Build/Strengthen a solace within the Misty Mountains for faction members.
  
• Explore and utilize areas wide across the server.

With the new state of the exile camp, and haveing spent Jubari's entire existence in this faction, I cannot praise it enough. The risks are great, but the rewards are far greater! Join the Painted Lady, above the chaos of the flatlands!
