Server has been rocking lately!  Lots of players on, damn good RP and the DM's have really been mixing it up as well.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Clearly you haven't seen everything yet, I suggest you play some more so you can get a more well-rounded view.

Server ain't perfect, but it's as close as any server will get.

Well, I'll turn the ball around and speak my mind. That since I came back, I've been impressed a lot with the community. I mean, sure, there is still some stuff we need to improve.

But, I feel that despite playing a server where consequences are very real, people are really trying to retain a chill and zen attitude and it's really nice to see. There will always be slight problems. Quest grinding seem to be one of them, and I'm trying a lot to make our quests more interactive, unique and randomized so they have more replay value. We're also thinking of giving a flat roleplay XP reward for the lower levels so that those that want to roleplay more hardcore with few questing can still reach the middle levels without any questing. We have some good stuff in the work, too!

We just need not to let them make mountains out of molehills, but in the end;

We're lucky to have this community, and it's alright to be proud of it.

For me what makes the server is definately the community and the DMs are a major part of that.

The amount of RL hours I have spent talking random bullshit outside the Kingsman and Wastrel is unbelievable. As well the diverse nature of most on the server from Ariel the little barmaid, Red the psychotic cannibal, to Dugrim the Hurrm, to Skanky the (8 year old?) halfling manchild. Few play the same characters. Few close off in their tight circles.

Most of the players, factions and DMs welcome players with open arms even if it is just to tie you to a stake. :P

And even the subtilist of spice makes a quest more exillerating if only because you know someones watching, judging and have their itchy finger on the DM kill button.

The server isn't perfect - but with it's fanbase they will all work on it together until it is to them... which'll always lead to epic battles

I've been a player of EFU nearing 6 months now. It has some but not many weak aspects, with far more amazing things.

While losing a PC can be hard( I tend to have an hour/2 hour grump) The fact that EFU is so diverse and constantly changing means that new concepts are constantly possible.

The DM team are all more than willing to deal with complaints, hop in game for spice, NPC possession.

DM loot? What's more to say, it's awesome stuff that just comes out of nowhere.

We have the opportunity to be whatever we want to be, climb up the ladder and become a feared villain or even a Hero and champion of the people. Fall from grace entirely and become a blackgaurd.

Embark on research and create things or modify people to your desires.

But it's not easy, it's a challenge and that is what makes it so addictive and worthwhile when you finally achieve something you never thought possible.

I'm proud to be an EFUican

Mort said perfectly, really.  The new players have been so good I have assumed they were veterans playing under secret accounts.  The fact that NWN is still alive, and our server just seems to bring in more great role-players makes me very happy.

The server is a great time right now.  Seriously.  So good.  I love you all so much for giving me a happy place to go after so much crap I deal with on a daily basis.

Long live EfU!  (or EfUA)!!!
