To be fair, the wilderness gathering quest maxes at 7.

This maxes out at four, and arguably, Monster PCs have it harder than even Wilderness PCs.

I think this is Justifiable. :(

Divine Intervention

Monster pcs are meant to have it harder to stop level 8 minotaurs looted to hell.

Just another above 4, (5 max) is all I am asking.

The loot from the quest is -okay-, but not amazing.

TheImpossibleDream

Level 4 is more than enough for an average monster to make some contacts and secure survival or die.

Divine Intervention

I won't go into specifics but the loot can be pretty sweet.  Also free potions.

Equinox

Don't raise this. monster pc's dont need a boost, thats why they have epic stats.

And the next time it will be 6. And then 7. And then even 8. Where will it stop?!

EfUA_undercover

Most awesome suggestion ever: Raise lvl cap so I can crawl longer through the sewers with my bonus ac and collect free loot and stuff!

And anyway, raising the lvl cap to five would make all barbs of that lvl nearly immune to all that deals dmg there in the day. Yay, more free lot!

Against it here, obviously.

Relinquish

ECL monster PCs can do that longer than anyone anyway.

Lenthis

I sugest a DM just lock this as it is already a No, from the people and it will only continue to get harsher.

Perhaps your pc should be a ratcatcher? It seems very reasonable a ratcatcher is level 4 and below.

I turned in about 200 rats with a level 3 wizard testing what kind of things the dm's had created. Mind numbingly easy to do. (and some very cool items if you are lucky/persist)

Slippery Slope fallacy detected.

Yea, lock it, kindly.
