In these days of PC's Xbox's and PS3, I was wondering does any one out there still play sitting round a table , with pen paper and dice? I know i do , and have been doing so since I was 11,  And Im not saying how long agao that was .
So if you do still RPG with funny shaped dice what games do tyou play?
my list is   D&D (ongoing game beeen running more than a decade now)
Call of Cthulu,  (run away, run away!!)
and finaly , when board PARONIA ( all trouble shooters please report to the nearest termination booth)  ( where the computer is definately not your friend, )

I do I play 4th ed D&D every Tuesday. I can't go for long without playing the pen and paper verison. I like the feeling of being arounds friends being able to use everything from every book. We do also play other games like white wolf and BESM but mostly just D&D

Nerds. Who plays DnD?

Just kidding. If I didn't have an ego (I like to call it dignity, but I'm more honest via internetz), I'd still play. And I can't lie about how awesome Paranoia sounds, I'd love to try that sometime.

The closest I get these days is the card game, Munchkin. Super rad game.

DnDPnPPlayer

Every Two week sfor the past umpteen years a group of friends and I have been playing 3.5 edition DnD... every once in awhile CoC (Call of Cthulu) for a break.  Took a look at 4th ed and didn't like it (also sunk over 100 bucks into all the books for 3.5 warrior's, clerics, magic item compendium etc.).  It 's hard at times to get every one together, (you know someone's kid almost dies as a result of child onset diabetes, someone's father does die (guy still came to play DnD didn't really care for his father), someone gets diviorced... same guy gets married, holidays come and go, family vacations come and go), but we've always played together and it's something we (at least I) miss when we don't get together for awhile.

I play regularly. Modified, simplified, less-dice 3.5 rules. 4e is ugh.

Always wanted to play CoC but .. that requires a tremendously good DM who can keep the atmosphere!

Portal Rat

Paranoia is so much fun.

I special guest (ergo I show up every 4-5 meetings) in an ongoing game of Rogue Trader. It's at my local gaming club and I usually go there to play games of Warmachine. But If I can't get a game sometimes I drop in there. Great fun.

While I haven't played PnP for about 3 years due to my little group having to go its separate ways I am glad to say I will be starting a new Shadowrun game in about a week or two. Oh yes, life will soon be good.

UnholyWon

I recently found a good group to play PnP D&D with, while I wasn't excited about it being 4th edition and the Eberron campaign setting, I still welcomed it.

So far its been a blast! There is nothing like a good night of table top gaming, and is part of the large reason I'm not around more on the server.

Peace!

Wildlings

Played for many years, every other Saturday night.  But, sadly the group all got lives. (or at least that is what they want me to believe)
So haven't played in a few years now.. I miss the days of stupidity until the wee hours of the morning.

It really does suck to grow up.

The Old Hack

I still play D&D these days. We are about to try Pathfinder, the independent further development of 3.5 by Paizo. It looks awesome.

I am also about to restart my own game. Night Below made ages ago for second edition, now updated to Pathfinder. Horrible monsters that want to enslave the players and eat their minds. Good times.

FishyBusiness

Pathfinder is awesome! I took a few changes from there to the campaign I ran at some point!

I play a modified 3.5 some times too, but really not often at all. I have a bunch of miniatures back home from when I was younger, though.
