Divine Intervention

I think these are some really awesome areas and having spent a fair amount of time in them lately and on other characters they rank among my favourite on the server.  Lots of cool exploring places and bits of lore to investigate.  However, I know that quite some time ago there was atleast three quests in these areas, some of them may have been removed to bugginess and others through underuse.  But i'd love to see a new one in the area, the ruins a quite a large (and largely uninvestigated) area of the server and something to attract players to see them and all these cool areas, is in my opinion a good idea.  With the rafter these areas are easily accessible and wilds pc's can reach here anyway.  I think the main problem (if underuse was an issue) was the level ranges which were 3-7 and 3-5 if I recall rightly, somethign slightly more challenging might work better.

I understand if this would be too much hassle to implement or you DM's don't have time/inclination to try it again.  But anyway, thoughts?

Those ruins were actually turned inside out before they added a certain something to them. Though that certain something may have been a result of said meddling.

Would be nice to have some quests along that shoreline indeed.

EfUA_undercover

I totally agree with the op here, something to draw more people there would be sweet.

I sign under this. The 2-6 (or 3-7?) quest was so brilliant.

I have no idea why the ruins were so toned down, whether the reason was IC or OOC, but they had SO many fun secrets and secret passages. Bring. It. Back. PLEASE!

Thomas_Not_very_wise

I believe Mort was responsible for the general revamp, but that said, they were an amazing part of the server and one that was well worth the risk to investigate for the sheer fun and danger they held.

Bring them back!

Most of the quests weren't fully fleshed out. One of them was massively easy and gave massive xp for a while, then it was changed to give very little xp and be very difficult. Eventually they were all just removed.

YES! I think that more quests should be made here as well as a new spider quest in webbed wood since all there is is the Flayer temple nearby.

Yes, I got that part. Teh zombie one was beautifully designed, was great fun getting NEW people to actually GET to it- and took a lot of time to go to, finish and come back, compared to others in the same range.

Loved it so bad eventhough the reward was usually crap!

And the 3-10 one, the buggy one? Tried it once, got let it. Didn't make it past the second bridge i think.

Still - the point of the OP stands.

Portal Rat

There used to be a 2-4 quest over there, and waaaay back in the early days there was a tribe of goblins on the far side of the island called the Sharktooths.

Coupled with the loss of the Isle of Bliss, that whole region is in need of some love.

Kinslayer988

After the Isle of Bliss was destroyed by [SPOILER!] the place has been a waste of time to go to so I suggest making a new quest hub down there. Also, please implement more newbie nature quests.

For my part, I feel that anything that gets people out and about away from the Colony more is a good thing. From what I see most only leave in order to head to a quest, so more quests further away means more traveling to and from.

Sure, the ideal is that people just travel for the sake of traveling, but I'm not so sure this happens all that often. Maybe I'm wrong and people travel more often than I think.

Lenthis

*Shrugs* A good deal of people travel.. but often to only questing hot spots and often ignore the small nicks of cool stuff out and about. Honestly.. The quest the hall way of memories or some such.. I made a char obseesed with it and would beg people to go there beacuse he wanted to investigate and explore more. Yet no one ever wanted to go there..

Those quests that no one ever did?
