Animated Armor Suits

In the Creaking Tower? the one with Furnomancy as a theme: bringing furniture to life. May not be a bug, may just be new, but we encountered 16 AB Suits of Armor with either 2 attacks per round or hastened effects. Needless to say, 2 of them tore through our party in seconds.(Party of 5, levls 3-5)  Not sure if this is the correct spawn, and we just got whipped, or if it was a buggy spawn, so..I put it here. I have done that quest before, on different characters and never encountered suits of armor, so I am thinking it is new, but maybe we just got lucky, or unlucky I guess.

They are incredibly strong. Myself and a few other militiamen went in and just barely managed to defeat it the other day. It's the level 5 summon on the animate theme. It's not impossible to defeat, but you'll definitely want at least 2 expertise fighters to take one on, or one really well armed expertise fighter and a good buffbot.

Seems new, yes, also seems far too strong for a 2-5 quest. I recommend getting rid of them for that quest, personally.

If it is the exact blueprint of the lvl 5 summon it's probably because the summons were changed to have a CR of 1. So any spawn with them in it could spawn them just as likely as a chair summon.

Those suits or armor are -damn- strong. It was difficult to kill one with two people and took every buff there is and still spamming heals just to survive.. I can't imagine you guys having to fight two at once.

Yeah they are so powerfull, but it probably wasn't a bug because whats in the quests is decided on the power and size of the party. The suits of armour are not impossible to kill though, if you have magic weapon and KD they go down quickly.

Definitely a bug. They shouldn't be spawning at all.
