I've got some very big plans brewing so I thought I'd put this out for folks to consider if they're in the market for a new PC. More interestingly enough though if you find you have a PC that is somewhat stagnating-

Heavy Emphasis is being placed on IC Conversion and Spreading of faith in the attempt to gain a temple and grow the religious community throughout the Dominion. You need not make a new PC if you're interested in this pursuit, simply open to the idea that Faith can be changed in EFU. It hasn't happened often on EFU and its something I've been placing a lot of energy toward of late. Conversion from one faith to the next is an interesting RP that is far beyond simply "Well okay time to serve bane". If it is of interest to you I assure you a unique series of RP events that are custom-suited to your individual character

Those of you seeking a new PC or to spice up a current with a shift of religion, here is some things I'm pursuing and interested in:

Heavy emphasis on Religious community and Politics:The Dominion is a Tyranny. As such it's only reasonable that those who love tyrants would find themselves uniting. It is my desire to build a comprehensive and diverse community of Banites upon this server.

Any character concept you can think of can follow Bane. From the lowliest farmer and adventurer to the most bizarre and exotic profession you can imagine. Not every banite is a Soldier: Believe it or not there is a wide array of possible paths for a Banite.

Some examples:

• A loyalist merchant who follows Bane in hopes of obtaining security and safety for his business. What better way to be safe than offering goods and services to a community of strong patriotic figures who protect their own?

• A Reporter who publishes a Loyalist newspaper, full of propaganda and warnings of seditious dealings

• A Slaver who works closely with the Dominion in hopes of obtaining contract for individuals branded slave for issues of debt or crime against the Dominion

• An Employee of the Kingsman's Inn who keeps an eye and ear out for trouble and dealings while offering show and otherwise event to dazzle and entertain the fine Loyalists of the Dominion

These are just a few simple and rough concepts off the top of the head but I think there's a lot of potential for any style of PC, any type of Concept, and any PC class (Except Paladins and Druids).

Plots being pursued are issues of Slavery, Conclave and Dock influence within the dominion, Non-Human status, and the obtainment of a Temple.

The beauty of a faith like Bane in a setting like the Dominion is you can point to any PC or NPC and what ever they are doing, you can likely find a way in which they are serving the Tyrannical Count and by proxy, Bane!

There is a unique and slightly Non-Canon twist placed upon the Dogma of Bane to fit the setting of Ymph and the Dominion. That said though you are more than welcome to make a 100% dogmatic Banite. Conflict inside a faction, even if religious, so something that is a lot of fun and a very interesting pursuit.

Bane's Dogma

Dogma: Serve no one but Bane. Fear him always and make others fear him even more than you do. The Black Hand always strikes down those who stand against it in the end. Defy Bane and die - or in death find loyalty to him, for he shall compel it. Submit to the word of Bane as uttered by his ranking clergy, since true power can only be gained through service to him. Spread the dark fear of Bane. It is the doom of those who do not follow him to let power slip through their hands. Those who cross the Black Hand meet their dooms earlier and more harshly than those who worship other deities.

Lord of Men Dogma

Dogma: It is the duty of Mankind to serve. For through this service to one another order is maintained and society grown. All that matters is the ability to serve as viewed in Worthiness. Worth is your ever changing ability to serve your masters while serving those who call you master. Those favored by the Lord of Men find themselves with high worth and high position. Tyrants in all forms serve their people and offer them much with their leadership and in return those of less worth offer their labor and dutiful obedience in hopes of raising their own worth. It is the fate of those who do not serve the Lord of Men to find their worth capped but not removed, for in their service to other non-racial faith they still show obedience. It is the doom of those of Non-Human origin who fail to serve the Lord of Men cast lower than even the lowest of worth Human. Those who accept worth find Paradise. Those who reject, a life of toil and suffering.

Normally I consider Bane the most horribly overused Evil Cliche and wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot Fascist Repression Nightstick. For RwG's take on it though, I'd be prepared to make an exception :D.

Any and all PCs are welcome as said and Conversions abound! converted a few PCs so far, some by will and some against it. As well as some other cool allies picked up along the way.

• In the effort of fleshing out the awesome faction dynamic, I'm currently looking for anyone in playing a classic "Dreadmaster" PC. The kind of cleric who crusades the wilds preaching faith by the sword (or morningstar in bane's case), waylaying bandits, carving through heretical stargazers, and venturing forth bravely from Paradise to bring forth the will.

• Also, all nefarious cliques require a megalomaniac wizard (Goatee optional but preferred). Just picture it. Wizard. Conjuration. Gnome. Mustache. Animated Furniture. "ALL SHALL SERVE, EVEN ZE UPHOLSTERY!" [sends forth marching chairs]  Think the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Disney...only with more Facist Marching Brooms. (Doing combat drills outside the main gate with marching furniture, etc)

Jokes aside (Please no crazy gnomes. If you wanted to make a serious concept around conjuring furniture it'd be cool, but that example was just a joke <_<), we're an eclectic and non-traditional group from your typical Banites. Same great Bane taste, half the calories.
